Would not recommend. Look elsewhere…read more Had a home inspection done in the Lehigh Valley. They were unable to complete a septic inspection due to the state of the septic system on the house. I was told I could request a refund. I requested that refund on July 28. I was told it was being processed that afternoon. On August 13 they told me the check would not have been approved until August 6 and then mailed on August 7. I was told the latest it would arrive was August 21. When I called today I was told the check was never even processed. On top of this their water inspection came back several days late - "worst-case scenario is next week around Monday" and it came Wednesday. Their radon inspection came back with incorrect information that they told me they could not correct until they got their device back 2 days later. Apparently they are unable to edit PDFs. I never received the corrected radon inspection. Completely unprofessional.

The team they sent out were punctual, thorough and personable for this multi-day inspection of the home including for pest, well water, septic and radon. They detailed reports they emailed out were all very professionally put together with findings and recommendations. The inspectors actually arrived very early and were finished at the time the inspection was to…read morebegin. This gave us little time with the 2 men whom were doing the home inspection. They were very quick to "tell" us about the condition of the home and pointed out a few items that we might be concerned about. We could not test the heating system since the boiler did not have any water in it and the system had been shut down. They were to return at a later date which never happened. We had to take upon ourselves to check the system at the walk through only to find out it did not work properly. Secondly, the water heater was not in code but they did not point that out. We only found that out when we needed to replace it several months after moving in when the thermostat didn't work anymore. Third,the electric is substandard. They mentioned a problem with the electric but not to the extent we found out later. We had to have the seller bring in an electrician to do some adjustments. It still is not working properly everywhere in the house. Recently we needed to purchase a new stove since the oven door would not close tightly. Again this was not part of the inspection results. When the installers tried to install the new stove they found a dangerous situation in the gas connection to the stove. Another error is in the connection for the washing machine discharge. The plumber who replaced the water heater found that error due to a leak with the washer. So many items were missed that I would question the abilities of the inspectors. Do not use them unless you want to find more problems after you move in.
