I had them do a bid for paint, flooring, lighting and electrical switches and sockets. When I signed the bid, the job was estimated to be completed in two weeks. They began work on August 12,2024 and as of today, November 5, 2024 the job is not even half way completed. When they came to bid the job, the only discussion we had revolving money was how much the job was going to cost. On the day they showed up to begin work, they told me that they actually expect half of the money up front. As hesitant as I was to do that, I needed this job completed within a timely manner so that I could get renters in asap, so I fronted them half of the money after a few days of them working there. Once I gave them the money, they hardly showed up, wouldn't return my texts or calls for weeks and now have completely ghosted me and this project. I am now left with a house not even half-way remodeled, losing money every single day this house goes unfinished and now having to find someone who will be willing to step into this job and finish it. If you are looking to have any work done to your home, I would recommend looking elsewhere.
