These people are RUDE. We had a closing with them for a commercial property. They pushed us to…read moreclose saying that everything was ready. Then we get to closing, sign all the papers and were due to get a check for about 16k back. They tell us sorry no funds are being released because some error was made with the lien release from the builder (why did they not know this before I will never know, they dropped the ball). After waiting around all day, they say they will send out the next day. 2 days later we call and we are told that it just got done and will be send out regular mail. We told them to overnight it and they said no. They wanted to charge us. In addition to the courier fees, wire fees, the DELIVERY fees they collect from us and they wated to charge again. We thought that was ridicuouls and happened to be in the area. When we get there, we were ignored as we stood there looking at them. Finally we had to call her (the ASSistant called Maria) by name and she gets out of her desk (after looking at us for a few like we were inconveniencing her) She gets up and gives us one check. The one guy, I think the male Navaretta, says what are you still doing here, what do you want from me? I already apologized to you and thats all you are gonna get. We said we wanted the rest of the money (they gave us a check for 2 grand and not the 16 grand). The ASS-istant gives us the big check and the female Navaretta asks us why we are still there when they have so much more work to do. Anyways, they always say attorneys are slimeballs but these guys are not upfront and just plain RUDE. I dont question their knowledge per se, just the fact that they are not nice at all. Everyone can put on a nice face when all is going well but when something goes wrong is when you really shine. Avoid these people like one would avoid a redneck who just drank five 12 packs of beer and just saw a colored boy with his daughter. I seen them before and trust me, it aint fun times. Luckily I always ran faster than him :-P

I have not had the opportunity to use his office's services for that purpose but It is nice to know that when a decent contract does come in we will have an excellent attorney and assistant ready and able to review it and work hard to make the transaction a success. We did however use their services this week to assist me and my wife in purchasing and closing a foreclosure home (i.e title work, closing, problem resolution etc.) The transaction was a difficult one but with his offices help it was a success. They were always very nice and courteous. When a problem arouse they were right there resolving the problem and communicating to us what was needed. I would like to especially thank Legal Assistant Ryanne as she was just great to work with. She went above and beyond in helping us! THE BS RESPONSE THAT I AM ATTACKING THIS FIRM IS WITHOUT MERIT - FIRST AMENDMENT ALLOWS ME TO SPEAK FREELY ABOUT TRUE FACTS. Updated 01/12/24: Battista earned a 2.88 GPA from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. Despite this, he charges $400 per hour. He has applied for a judicial seat six times without success. Updated 08/10/23: After I left the firm, Managing Partner Patrick Grall responded publicly to my Google review instead of replying to my private email sent weeks earlier. That alone speaks volumes about how this firm treats former clients. While you're paying, you're treated one way. Once you raise concerns, the tone changes entirely. My Experience: Privileged client information was shared with opposing counsel. Communication was poor--unanswered emails, calls, and texts. A court hearing was scheduled without my knowledge or consent. His rate increased from $375 to $400/hr without notice or discussion. He failed to identify misleading financial disclosures from the opposing party, directly impacting child support calculations. He missed critical filing deadlines for spousal alimony. Battista marketed himself as a skilled, experienced advocate. In reality, I found him disorganized, inattentive, and ultimately fired him--which I can prove through written correspondence.
