They told me to have my medical records sent to the office so the doctor could review them and he would determine if he would accept me as a patient after that. Now what ethical doctor picks his patients like that? I also heard of someone who was asked over the phone what kinds of meds they were on and when they asked the receptionist why, they were told they would not have been accepted if they had been on certain drugs. Unbelievable. Something just isn't right here.

Scheduling the appointment was fairly easy, got one within a week from the day I called. They even mailed out a packet for me to fill out before my appointment. Arriving to my appointment was abit confusing. The Cool Spring plaza has a couple of HMH family care doctors. This particular one is located in the front of Cool Springs (facing ring road). I parked in the back of Cool Springs, behind this office. I signed in and set up my insurance and other info they needed. I was surprised to have a wait time about 20 minutes. The waiting room was super spacious and a couple of Tvs on and some reading material. Once called back, did normal check up and meet and greet with my Dr and was on my way. Super easy check out and made way to the lab literally a couple of doors down. They were super quick and efficient. I was in and out of there less than 10 minutes. Let's see how it goes when I am sick.

Most importantly they put my daughters health first. They make sure to remind me for any vaccines she might need. They're very informative when I have questions. My daughter got sick and Dr Baula was quick to recognize what might be wrong and request the test she needed. Thanks to Dr Baula we found the illness and she got treatment in time. I absolutely trust these two. They're well educated and highly experienced and I love the care my daughter gets at their clinic.

This APRN was the provider for my husbands VA exam for disability. Goodness the false paperwork!…read moreTold my husband his prostate was boggy, marked it as fine on his paperwork. Paperwork said that all his urine test markers came back fine - my husband never gave a sample. Said she checked his ROM with a goniometer, never pulled out a single tool to check it. He is the picture of health apparently. It took her 4 MONTHS from his exam to finally submit the lies she submitted and only after my husband, his PEBLO, and his chain of command starting asking questions why it was talking so long to get done. All his QTC stuff came back within a week after his individual appointments were completed. My husband has 16+ years of service and has "no physical findings" despite a thick record of MRIs, CTs, Xrays for his neck, knees, elbow....diagnosed sleep apnea with mask (supplies still sent to the house on schedule) To us, seems like she forgot and then rather than do the right thing, just clicked "all is well" and screwed over a soldier who has served his country honorably. You should be ashamed. My husband has heard stories of how everyone needs to go to their VA physical exams and play it up because they screw everyone over but didn't realize how true that statement it was until this clinic. I will never recommend this office to anyone, even just for primary care...unless they are trying to get someone to lie on paperwork that they are healthy when they aren't.
