This was a mixture of carnations and roses and a few other flowers. One of the roses fell off the stem and showed signs of rotting. I made sure the flowers were not in a draft or direct sunlight. Well today they were thrown out. All of the roses had rotted by day 5. The carnations were doing great. Not happy since I'm sure my daughter paid quite a bit for them.

I called (Chele) one day and told her I wanted a 'just because' bouquet with some fun colors, and perhaps some yellow roses mixed in. She responded that she wasn't totally pleased with the yellows at the moment, but that the peach-colored roses looked outstanding. At that point I said "You're the expert; please just make me look good." And did she ever. Never mind that I called an hour later and asked to delay the delivery until a day later. And never mind that half of the streets were under water on delivery day. Blushing Blooms took great care in arranging a beautiful bouquet of just-cut flowers and buds, and brought it to the front door with a smile. I think I've found my forever florist.

She was truly heaven-sent. I told her I wanted my bouquet wrapped in my late grandmother's skirt so she could be my "something blue." It meant so much to me, and Pam treated it with so much care. She made it even more beautiful than I imagined. She also created the most stunning boutonnières for my husband and my son, tying everything together so perfectly. I was mortified when I saw the arrangement. I called and kept getting a voicemail so I left a message and someone got back to me THREE DAYS LATER. She kept making excuses as to how my arrangement was "upgraded". More like downgraded! She also made an excuse as far as how I ordered late so they basically had to rush to make it and deliver it on time. The integrity of the design was compromised in their "rushing" process. I ordered through the funeral home website so the funeral home outsourced the job to these people. I made sure the option was still available to deliver the flowers to have the arrangement there on time. I said if it were a problem the option should not say "Can my order still be delivered - YES". She offered me 50% off my next order. Really?! Do you think I'm going to order from you again?! I was so upset with all of her excuses I just had to hang up. She ended up calling me back and said that the funeral home (not he flower shop) was going to give me a partial credit which basically equated to what I paid for all the service charges. Do yourself a favor and order from another local shop with better reviews.
