After being told the perimeter wall tile sat under the existing tiled floor, and running around to 2 home depot stores and Daltile, and buying excess tile, did we find that info to be incorrect. That cost a restocking fee. Because of time constraints and a plumber needing to get in behind them, the owner of j&N was amenable to finishing in one day. They were concerned about the grout drying before being walked on that evening. The complaint is the tile was 12x12 pennyround squares that looked pieced in, in the middle of the floor, in several visible spots. that could have been cut in the corners. Doesn't look seamless, and disappointed after waiting 20 years to do! While biz owner apologized and offered to redo, it wasnt possible, as condo was going on the market. Friendly, and willing to please, just wished I would have caught it before completion.

My front-entry tiles look brand new (but they're not); he replaced the existing grout with a new product that has it looking bright and clean. See for yourself what a sterling job he did on my new bathroom floor tiles (see photo). What you can't see is the fact that he replaced the silicone along the walls and did baseboard repairs. I would not recommend this company…read more I chose them because the scope I discussed with the account manager included replacing my flooring and installing a new vanity I had already purchased. I verbally confirmed that scope with the account manager and paid an invoice that included a line item for that portion of the work. Despite that, the installer arrived without all of the necessary materials and informed me he was not comfortable installing the vanity. To be clear, I have no issue with the installer declining work he wasn't comfortable performing. What I do have an issue with is being told afterward that vanity installation was never included, despite it being discussed with the account manager and being a major reason I selected this company over other bids. The installer himself encouraged me to request a refund for that portion of the project, but the company only provided a partial refund ($180). As a result, I am left with an unfinished project, a sink currently being held up by a 2x4, and the need to hire a second contractor to complete the work. What should have been a straightforward bathroom update has turned into a major headache. By the time the project is finally finished, I will have spent significantly more than the original quote, despite choosing this company because I believed they would handle the full scope of work from start to finish.

Great experience from start to end…read more The only thing I recommend is that the installers call the customer when they are on the way to the home. The guys that installed my floor did not arrive in a company vehicle and did not have any identification (business cards). They identified themselves by saying they were there for the floor project. In today's world customers will be extra careful as to who they let into their home.
