What I liked about that was it gave me an insight into how Gabriel thinks about a site's content, appearance, and usability. Another helpful thing that Gabriel provided was asking me how I wanted people to feel when they saw might site. That's important in my line of work and it helped me convey exactly what I wanted without feeling like I needed to know what my site should actually look like. Gabe has an incredible knack at combining an analytical approach with organic creativity. I think he makes him unique among designers and it really worked for me and my business. Gabriel's process included setting up a Pinterest board that gave me a view into his ideas without burdening me with too many specifics until the site was ready for me to view. I was contacted by a "Jolene" and subsequently…read morea "Ryan Weitzel" for an upcoming shoot - after sending in items that were requested and not particularly relevant to the shoot content, I was notified that I had been selected for the production and was assured employment. In the meantime, I turned down other paying offers that conflicted with the provided shoot schedule. A week before the production was set to begin, I was notified that I would be receiving additional info "shortly". I'm used to short-notice scheduling in the industry, so I figured I would receive a follow-up a few days before production was set to begin. Unfortunately, the main contact (Ryan) completely disappeared after that. Repeated attempts to message him and the company (as well as calls to the line listed on their website and online) have gone unanswered. I also cannot find any evidence of them working on projects after 2017-2020. If not a scam, this was quite frankly unprofessional, disrespectful, and callous - especially for those of us that have had a very difficult time working in the entertainment industry post pandemic and strikes and depend on this for our livelihood. I felt it prudent to warn other creatives about any future work with this "company" and hope I can deter at least one person from the same unfortunate experience.
