A few months into seeing her and starting to work past some personal issues, I had lost my dad. It was absolutely heartbreaking. My mom reached out the morning of, and Forest made time to see me. She listened to me, and held space for my grief, which was more than enough that day. Following that, she continued to work with me, through many challenges. She gave me confidence, understanding of myself, guidance, and much more. I don't know who I would be without her today. I don't see her now, I recently turned 20, but I seen her close to 5 years. I went to Quest for an evaluation, the results of which were to be provided to me in 7-10 business days. I paid out of pocket. 10 business days came and went without any results of the evaluation being delivered. In addition to having paid out of pocket, Quest also submitted a claim to my insurance, effectively double charging me for a service they never actually delivered on. I'd urge caution when considering Quest for any needs of your own. It was not a quality experience. I expect more from caretakers in this line of business.

The first red flag was the $100 credit card fee just to register. You have to keep a card on file and they threaten to charge you if you cancel less than 24 hours in advance, and weekends and holidays don't even count. When I asked about it they swore it was only for people who constantly miss appointments and that they totally understand if you get sick or something unexpected happens. I was told not to worry. A few visits in, my therapist scheduled me out several weeks so I always had a regular spot. What I didn't know was that the office also booked me separately without telling me, so I got double booked. I went to my normal appointment but apparently missed another one I never made. When I called, they said it was fine, not my fault, no charges. Then it happened again. I called again, got the same reassurance, and was told everything was taken care of. A week later my therapist told me my appointments were being canceled because I supposedly owed $300. She didn't even know what it was for. She confirmed it wasn't for missed appointments. So what the hell was it? When I tried to talk to someone I wasn't allowed to speak to anyone except a woman named Kate who is a complete tw[at]... there really isn't another word in English language that's more mild that could adequately describe her... rude, gaslighting, abusive, and completely unprofessional. She lied, twisted my words, and talked to me like garbage. After digging around I found out I wasn't the only one. Kate allegedly has a history of verbally abusing patients and crossing lines she shouldn't. Look it up for yourself. This place is a scam. They don't communicate, they don't care, and they will absolutely fuck your life over while pretending to help you. They steal from people, they gaslight you when you question it, and they hide behind fake policies. I later found multiple complaints filed against them with the Nevada Board of Examiners for Marriage and Family Therapists and Clinical Professional Counselors for misconduct and unethical behavior. It's all public record. In fact, Kate is such a gaslighting narcissist. I would bet money that they respond to this with some more gaslighting. 100% Were there smoke there's fire... and there's actual fire here.

I appreciate my therapists ability to take each session at my own tempo and I admire her ability to present ideas without being overly opinionated. I don't feel like I'm being pushed into a box of identities and traits. My therapist is light hearted and doesn't take herself too seriously either. I believe that if I wanted to try another therapist, that she would encourage me to do so without her ego getting in the way and I think her ability to control that human condition is especially valuable in her field. I highly recommend CBA for one on one therapy and they take Medicaid as of this review.

When arriving, I was asked by the front desk clerk who I was there to see, which you would assume they would know who is scheduled to see whom in their office. I declined to sign two documents that were making me assume responsibility if insurance didn't cover the total costs. The front desk clerk huffed and puffed and ran into the back, stating I was declining to sign all of the documents, which was incorrect. I spoke up and stated I was not assuming responsibility for costs if insurance didn't cover it. At that time, April slashed out those parts of the documents with reluctance, and then stated I was rude to the person I had originally spoke to on the phone after canceling due to the unavailability or the unknown of appointments. Who would schedule a company that can not figure out how to schedule out appointments. I gave them a chance, and unfortunately, they met my expectancy. A completely unorganized, rude company. Seek other help.

I made an appointment for new counseling in December. The front office contacted my insurance, and…read morecontacted me to advise me how many sessions would be covered at 100%, and what sessions would not be completely covered. The office did the insurance verification and I came in on 1/6, and established with a new counselor. We had a great therapy session and we set up future sessions to meet weekly. I was contacted on 1/7, by the front office, stating that they were unaware of some changes with providers taking my insurance at their practice starting 1/1, and that if I would like to continue seeing my counselor, each visit would be out of pocket because they are out of network, and it would be over $200 a session. I declined. The office stated they would send me over recommendations for other area providers who would take my insurance. No one ever called me back with those recommendations. Then in February, I received a bill for $285.00, for my 1/6 session. I called the office and they said they couldn't bill insurance due to they did not take my insurance, and I would be responsible for paying the fee. We went over the notes the front office gave me in December, where their staff did insurance verification that my session would be fully covered. They said they were sorry and they had not checked to make sure my insurance would continue to be accepted for the following year, and I was still responsible to pay. We had multiple conversations back and forth with this issue, which was so stressful - and they never contacted me with their other provider recommendations. This entire facility was such a headache and horrible experience.

Fortunately I found just that with the therapist I received. Juseth Giron was excellent and helped me tremendously with the issues I was going through. She gave me alot of feedback and even ideas and different thinking habits. I felt really comfortable with her talking about very private things. She never made me feel rushed or like she was uninterested. I will definitely reccomend her to anyone in the future who needs some friendly and professional help.
