Dr. May is amazing. I'm complicated and when I first saw her in 2015 I was in a bad place because I had no clue what was going on with me. Dr May gave gave me some suggestions after an extensive check with Kinesiology along with foods and substances. That was the first day of the rest of my life. That is the day I began to move forward slowly one step at a time and eventually I was feeling better, and supplementing my health with alternative methods. Let me start out by saying I am not exaggerating one bit. This woman saved my life. Dr. May is a Nutritionist and she uses Kinesiology as well. To make a very long story short I was suffering from awful stomach issues, I lost a massive amount of weight and I started having terrible headaches amongst other things. She diagnosed my problem in 2 hours, where DOZENS of doctors left me undiagnosed for 9 months. She gave me a diet plan and basically gave me the tools to get my life back on track. I don't follow up with her as much as I should, but she is worth every penny (she does not take insurance unfortunately.) She really gave me my life back because I don't know where I would be if she didn't diagnose me and give me the tools to better myself. Her assistant is also amazing and incredibly helpful. They both listened to me when I thought I was crazy and out of options. She is the truth, because If I don't follow her diet my symptoms do flare up sooner rather than later. A year and a half ago I was diagnosed with a very rare autoimmune disease. I have an antibody that causes extreme fatigue, my walking, speech, and vision. I was admitted to the hospital for a month in September 2017 and then had to go to acute rehab to learn to walk again, get occupational therapy, and speech. It hit out of nowhere and I have been on steroids for over a year plus other medicines. The medicines help me get through the day but I was unable to work or do simple tasks without tiring out fast. A lot of people told me I should see Dr. Debra May but in my mind I thought what could she do for me I have this rare autoimmune disease that 400 people in this country have so I was pretty skeptical. Fast forward at 1 year from steroids I had gained 30 pounds and never really struggled with weight gain. I decided let me make an appointment it takes 2 months to get I can always cancel. I decided I better start eating right because I cant go and tell her yes I eat candy, cake and drink soda. So as i waited my 2 months to go I lost 2 pounds and gave so much up was eating well and then i put the 2 pounds back on. November 1st 2018 was my first appointment and she told me basically I had a leaky gut and although I was eating well I was eating things that were not going to heal my gut and I would not lose weight . Since November 1st I have been very serious about the diet plan she gave me. I had no expectations of weight loss I went to see if I could feel better. She made me no promises for a cure but said with this diet plan I would have more energy. Bonus... i have lost 19 pounds so far and I am back to work! It takes a while to get a first appointment with Dr. May, because she is THAT good. First appointments take about an hour or more, so they have to be scheduled way in advance. Once you have an initial visit with her, scheduling appointments is much easier. So, there was no reason for one reviewer to leave this fantastic and dedicated Dr. only one star. These reviews are supposed to be based on personal experience with the doctor, not based on not getting what you wanted when you wanted it. With that said, Dr. May will resolve health issues that regular MDs don't know how to deal with. She understands the body completely. She can even sense a virus within the body and tell you how to get rid of it before it brings you down. Dr. May saved my husband's life and has been dedicated to keeping him healthy ever since. read more

Best reception of any office I've been too. They always answer the phone and return messages (including Dr. May and Quynh). It may be a few months for an appointment but you can schedule one initially and ask to be put on their cancellation list.. something always turns up! I am always seen at my appointment time. Dr. May is great, but I've been seeing Quynh for a year now I don't know what I'd do without her. She never judges me and I can always reach her when needed (email too). I've struggled with so many health issues, in and out of doctors offices constantly with no answers and feeling awful. I have always cared about my health but taking the holistic approach is the best decision I ever made and I have learned so much. It takes patience and commitment but it's worth it. Don't be nervous or skeptical when you have to hold things or get poked just trust the process. Initial visit is pricey and every follow up is $45 but then you start coming less frequently and you just pay for the supplements you may need. read more

Please save yourself the headache of dealing with the people at the front desk. They told me my TOTAL CHARGE included my $130 visit. I did not assume, so I asked. When I got home, I had two separate charges that did not TOTAL the same amount that the woman told me as I left the office. On a side note, the probiotics I was sold at an exorbitant price (which I was not told how much) made me blow up and bloat worse than when I went to her in the first place. I am now in worse shape. The same ones are sold on Amazon for half the price....regardless of how or where they are made. I would leave zero stars if that was an option. read more

Dr. May was very nice on my first visit she spent time talking with me and listening to everything that I had to say. She has put me on a diet with nutritional supplements and so far I have lost weight, I am feeling better. I originally told her I was very sluggish and just never feeling good. She is cleansing my gut so I will absorb my nutrients better. I am 3 weeks into it. I think I am doing great. I will say Dr. May does not like lateness even if its a few minutes. Which is stressful because I got caught in traffic. So make sure you leave your house extra early. read more

Pretty shocked that anyone would give this office a bad review. In the 15 plus years my family has been going to Dr. May I haven't had one complaint yet. They have the best staff than any office I've ever gone to, the receptionists are so sweet and willing to help you in any way. As for the doctors they're a whole new level of amazing. Dr. may helped me with my stomach problems and helped me to lose weight. After i went there i sent almost everyone in my family and they've helped us all. Even the chiropractor has helped me with my back and neck problems. I've never had to wait more than 20 mins and trust me i've waited at other offices for far longer. As for prices i think they're fair, i've shopped at vitamin shops before and they have stuff more expensive than at this office and you have no idea where they are coming from or if they are organic. Not like at this office where they will explain everything to you so you know you get your money's worth. I love it at Dr.May's and would suggest anyone to go there. read more
