My overall experience with Dr. Tehrany was quite fantastic. After being referred to from a friend, I called Dr. Tehrany's office and explained my shoulder injury. I was pleasantly surprised by the knowledgeable staff who took that time to highlight the benefits of the office, give a brief explanation of how their office worked with patients, and explained what role my insurance would play. It was so nice to know I had an active staff handling insurance so I could focus on my decision. I scheduled an MRI before my initial visit with Dr. Tehrany per their recommendation to properly assess my condition as to not waste anyone's time. Not to mention, I was given several choices of facilities with cost breakdowns for each. After an initial visit and diagnosis of a torn labrum, Dr. Tehrany offered me another doctor's information for a second opinion. After taking some time, he recommended an additional visit for family to come and ask questions regarding the surgery and recovery. He gave me all the information I needed to make my decision. As far as the surgery, it was another really great experience. Dr. Tehrany operates out of his own outpatient center that he runs with several other surgeons that gives you great medical attention with the added benefit of personalized attention. From arrival to post-op, I was well taken care of. My particular surgery required four anchors from the top left all the way to the bottom. As it was arthroscopic surgery, my incisions are now virtually unnoticeable. From post-op nurse follow-ups calls and office visits, I was still treated as important as someone considering his services. I waited 7 months post-op to write this review. I wanted to be able to give a full account from initial visit to full recovery. I was told before surgery, with physical therapy, it would take about 4-6 months to fully rehabilitate the shoulder. Dr. Tehrany is very adamant with his recommended physical therapy routine as it is paramount to successful recovery. He actively monitors your progress within those first couple of crucial months leading the way to regaining full range of motion. I have truly never felt better. I would highly recommend having this type of surgery to anyone considering it and more so recommend Dr. Tehrany. His professionalism accompanied with his genuine regard for his patients make him one of a kind. read more

Dr. Tehrany and his staff are by far the most professional and pleasant I've EVER experienced. Not only is Dr. Tehrany 'Top Notch', but his bedside manner and expertise is second to none. I can't thank Dr.Tehrany, P.A.Timothy Lopresti and their staff enough for a great job making me feel comfortable and preparing me for my shoulder surgery. In November I had a severe and unusual tear. Dr.Terhrany reassured me it's repairable and I can continue to work and enjoy my very active life in months to come. The first follow up, Tim was very supportive making sure I followed through with physical therapy to heal slow and safely. February was the second visit, Tim was amazed by my progress with hardly any pain and range of motion. He encouraged me to keep up with physical therapy and some light home workouts. I had wonderful experience with Dr. Tehrany. After suffering shoulder pain for 2 years , I was finally referred to Dr. Tehrany. He was very thorough and very informative in explaining all my options. He listen and answered all the questions and concerns. I felt that he was the right doctor to do my rotator cuff repair surgery and that was the best decision. He did procedure so well that I had minimal pain past surgery. He and his P.A. Stephan were great in explaining what to expect past procedure and I was very happy with P.T that they referred me to. After 8 months in physical therapy, I was able to return to weight lifting and my shoulder feels stronger than ever. I am very happy with choosing Dr. Tehrany and would highly recommend him. This is an extremely professional office; from the front desk staff to the PAs and the answering service telephone staff. Dr. Tehrany is thorough, informative and although I didn't need surgery he explained everything to me about my injury and answered all of my questions. The entire staff is so accommodating, professional and courteous and they communicate information to you via email, text and phone calls.
