We live in California and were looking for an agent to represent us for a purchase we were looking to make sight unseen. This presents some issues for us as a buyer but also for the agent. Basically, the agent ends up doing more legwork because we are not local. She has to be our eyes and ears without ever having met us. We are working from pictures and MLS listings but they are the ones with local knowledge. The agent serves all those functions relying on the assumption that we are serious buyers. Casey and Stacey helped us pull this off. With their guidance we avoided a serious (but not apparent) issue with the first property we were interested in then found and negotiated a fair contract for the perfect property for our family. In Southern California, things happen at a fast pace which is not necessarily how things happen in 90% of the rest of the US. Casey was extremely responsive to our requests for information. We felt very comfortable relying on her judgment and expertise in the Coastal Maine market. I almost want to buy another place just to work with them again.
