He answered all of my and my wife's questions and concerns, and never tried to push an unnecessary procedure on me. I had other consultations for laser surgery before ultimately selecting Dr. Weinstock, and all of my other consultations felt rushed and very sales-like and not at all clinical. Dr. Weinstock was readily available to address questions via email and text, and was flexible in his scheduling of in-person follow-ups to accommodate my needs (early/weekend appointments). The surgery itself was successful, taking less than an hour and completely painless. I had clear vision a few hours after my surgery and was completely recovered within 24 hours. I have no residual dry-eye, my night vision is crystal clear and without any starbursts (common post-LASIK issues that I did not experience). Getting LASIK was easily the best decision of my life, and I'm very glad that I chose Dr. Weinstock.

The office was very nice, the staff was courteous. There was no wait time, which was a pleasant surprise. Dr Edmonds was very easy to talk to, down to earth, knowledgeable and did a thorough exam. He took the time to answer my questions, address my concerns and explained everything to me. I visited a few eye doctors for this same issue- one attending physician at Wills Eye even went so far as to give "I don't know" as his diagnosis. They confirmed my Humana membership with Humana, invited me to be treated as an eye injury or disease (billing as a specialist with associated copays, coinsurance and coverage limits) but refused to provide the annual no-copay comprehensive eye exam! Very disappointing! BTW, is it not more appropriate to visit the ER or an ophthalmologist for eye injuries/diseases? Your response was not accurate. Yelp technical difficulties prevented my response, so I add it as an edit here. I used no curse words and made no inappropriate comments. I simply described my experience and expressed disappointment in the result. The Humana website identifies you as an "in network" optometrist. How or why would one know that an "in network" optometrist does not accept their "vision" component?

Response to owner I know you stated that it is driven by co pays. My copay for eyeglasses is 10 dollars. The issue is the frame and lens markups that exceed the VSP allowance by a LOT. I got the exact same glasses but a different color and I paid 200 dollars LESS online. Please take the feedback and get better instead of a response that as a businessman I know is not entirely true!!!

While I can't speak on Dr. Cardillo Sr., his son Dennis Cardillo Jr., an optician, helped me with the process of getting new glasses. Dennis was friendly, answered all my questions, and never rushed or pushed me into buying new glasses. My prescription is high, and so Dennis explained the different options for my glasses, including pricing. To ensure my glasses would be right, he had me try them on, marked my optical center, and measured my pupillary distance. He said it would take a week and a half for my glasses to be ready which it did (10 business days). Instead of just picking them up, I made an appointment to have them dispensed. That meant Dennis would have me try them on, and adjust them if necessary. This step I definitely appreciated. They also offer lasik evaluations. They are open Monday-Thursday only. There is street parking. 5/5.
