I placed a call and when I got an answer I was told that he would call me back. I later received a texted that I need to call the restaurant to take care of the issue with my order. When I respond as to why would I be calling the restaurant, I never received a reply back. I then placed a call to the restaurant to see what the issue as to why I needed to call them and I was informed that they could not fix my order and wouldn't be able to address it until Monday. But they would contact the owner and call me back. I received a call back from the restaurant who informed me the order was double checked and sent out on time that it would be on Pooler Takeout who is not returning their call.

I must say, out of desperation I tried Toasted Crust. It delivered on some of the key elements of a good pizza imo in that the sauce had just the right amount of tang, the cheese was gooey with a very good bit of sharpness to it. The crust was inconsistent in the same pizza. Good and then much like cardboard. But the huge fail was the order/takeout area was absolutely disgusting. Wet rags on the floor. Wet floor. Filthy work counter at the pizza station. Dirty floors. And one poor guy working the front, taking orders and making the pizza. He was kinda a mess too. I look through to the back and 3-4 guys were doing something, but no one was helping up front. Not sure how these guys pass a health inspection. Too bad. Would never return.

Mac & cheese, mashed potatoes and gravy. Her smoked salmon platter was incredible as was the spinach and artichoke dip. But still it was like taking a shot in the dark but boy let me tell you I hit the Bulls Eye when I hired Miss Shannon and her crew to do a Friday night low country boil for a bunch of out of town guest. I wanted them to have a taste of the low country while visiting Savannah. I also just wanted to enjoy my guest and not have to worry about a thing. Miss Shannon and her crew did an excellent job and the food was amazing. Everyone loved everything they put in their mouths. She is super professional and I loved working with her. We appreciated their willingness to make an exception and were asked during our conversation a week prior to send over a tasting menu. We sent the requested information, but according to the owner, the email was not received, and our tasting was subsequently canceled. Unfortunately, we did not discover that the tasting had been canceled until the day of the appointment--after we had already traveled to the area specifically for several wedding tastings, as we do not live in South Carolina. We completely understand that emails can occasionally be missed, but communication is an important part of the wedding planning process, particularly when clients are traveling from out of state. A simple confirmation or follow-up regarding the missing tasting menu would have allowed us to address the issue before making the trip. While we appreciate that the business was willing to accommodate a special request, the lack of communication and the fact that we were only made aware of the cancellation upon arrival left us extremely disappointed. Based on this experience, I unfortunately would not feel comfortable recommending the business to another couple planning their wedding.

We were going to go to the restaurant but opted to stay home. At 5:20pm the order is waiting pick up. Over an hour later, at 6:30pm the order finally arrives. Sandwich and fries were completely soggy and cold. Pizza was also soggy. I had to put it in the oven to crisp up. Dominoes would have been better and cheaper. According to the driver, she had to sit in traffic on I-95. I live near downtown Savannah, and this restaurant is in midtown. Why is she coming from I-95? I am assuming they are short on drivers. I reached out to SAVtakeOut several times. I even called Oak 36. Finally SAVtakeOut answered, and she said that she needed to speak with her supervisor about a refund. I must have called 15 times. Buyer beware that there delivery service may not be prompt. Food may sit for awhile. This isn't a "boutique" delivery service. Just order from one of the other mainstream services. Also, restaurants be weary of using a delivery service that is not up to par. It hurts your reputation as well. The buck stops with you.
