The staff here are very friendly and helpful. The store is stocked with so many items to purchase for your dog from treats and toys to leashes and bandannas and more. I bought two cute Owl o'Ween cookies for my grand-dogs and they loved them. They also sell gift items for dog lovers. read more

We were not impressed with customer service. After viewing the raw dog food sign from the window we turned around just to stop in. We walked in and was looking forward to looking around the store and ordering a few treats for our pup but stood at the counter for several minutes as the employees conversed, not paying any attention to us. After finally getting someone's attention we asked about their raw dog food, they were unhelpful, very short and unknowable. We will not be back. read more

Dogs need vacation/everyday/good puppy/just because treats too! Decadent dogs is really the store for dog owners and lovers alike. They did have a few cat things but really the focus is dogs. The walls of the store have leashes, harnesses, life jackets, toys, etc for dogs. Additionally, there are socks, house decor, and general breed themed items for humans too! The middle is a cute dog bakery with treats in a range of costs, a majority around $3. My dog has been a happy customer during our trip to South Haven! read more

Super cute store was so impressed with all the merchandise, found something for each of my dogs. Bought a sale sweater for one of my dog along with several other items. The sale sweater was a little snug so went back later that day to exchange it for larger size. I was willing to pay for the difference in cost since I assume the larger size costs more. I was told that would not be possible since it was a sale item. I did not see this policy posted on the sale sign or on my receipt, and was not told about the policy at check out. I have never seen a pet shop with so many cool goodies available for pets! I was on vacation with my husband and fur babies on this side of the state. I came up to this shop to get my fur babies some accessories for a photo shoot. Boy was I surprised to find cool pet stuff in this shop! Actually, what drew us in was one of the flags they had on display outside the storefront - that of a golden retriever's profile on a background of stars and stripes. My bf and I looked at each other and he said, "We have to have it." So in we go to buy the flag. Inside, we were told that that was the last one they had but we were welcome to purchase the one on display. When I asked if we could purchase it at a discount since it had already been out on display, the store clerk was kind enough to check with the manager (she texted her as the manager was out of the store) and got us 10% off the retail price. Well, the flag is proudly hanging in our den right now much to the embarrassment of our real life golden retriever at home, lol. Great little store with lots of knick knacks and home decor items for crazy dog-loving people, and baked goodies for the dogs. There are a few cat items in the corner too. What a cute little boutique! Decadent Dogs has everything I've come to love about my favorite pet shops in Chicago. I love the vast selection of cute cards, sassy stickers, and assorted gifts you can get for people and puppies. They also carry fun things like dogolopy board games, treat games, cooling pads and misc. pet gear. When you walk in you're immediately greeted by a beautiful bakery case of pretty dog treats too. I had a hard time deciding which ones to bring back as a souvenir for my puppy. Great selection and a friendly staff. Plus they help homeless doggies find homes. Place was cute and had a lot of options but bought a moon pie for my dog and it was completely stale. She's a pit with incredibly strong jaws and couldn't take a bite out of it. I even tried to cut it with a knife and couldnt. If your treats are that old, don't sell them, or at least provide a warning. I could NOT resist stopping in while walking around downtown South Haven while on vacation. I did not have my gal with me but noticed that dogs are welcome inside :) They have an awesome selection of goodies for you and your dog. SO much fun! They have lots of breed-specific items and customizable items. While I was there, I noticed there was a person (volunteer?) from a local shelter (?) with a dog that was available for adoption. I was here on a weekend so I'm not sure if this is a weekend or daily thing. Regardless, it's a great initiative! So good to see the store trying to help dogs find their forever homes! If i wasn't flying out with limited suitcase space, i could've done some SERIOUS damage. However, i managed to be very good and only buy a customized stocking for my pup's first Christmas! Even though I didnt actually buy anything here I still feel like I can leave an educated review. The store is a cute little downtown South Haven boutique type place. It was jumpin with peeps and pups. Everyone besides me and the bf had a dog there.So its highly puppy friendly. They have food,toys,clothes,leashes accessories,gifts and pretty much evey other pup thing you would need. I had to give it 5 stars since they help puppies find homes.There was a lil doggy in there that was available for adoption.I was so happy to hear that, but not as happy when I saw the sing on the door that read 261 dogs have found a home here! Decadent Dogs has to be one of my favorite stores in South Haven. And even though I am a native I still stop in the store every time I go into town. When me and my family had a our dog Kelly (R.I.P.) we would ALWAYS buy her Christmas gifts there. There is everything from dog toys to treats and even clothes for the human friend. Another great thing about the store is that you can bring your dog in the store (most of the time). And you can also adopt dogs out of the store from the Al-Van Humane Society of South Haven. What a great dog store. They have all of your normal doggie boutique stuff, clothes, bakery goods, toys, people stuff with your favorite breed and quality food. We bought our pug some awesome "indestructible" toys that smell like mint. She loves them. I have seen these around Chicago as well, but never purchased them. I purchased a dog chew toy that was specifically "built for durability" and "able to withstand chewing, tossing, tugging, and endless bouncing". It was designed as "soft but tough...constructed of rubber and strong seat belt (nylon) legs. He is designed for hours of interactive fun." Although I gave it to my puppy (8wks old) and the material ripped in a matter of minutes. As soon as it ripped I took it away from the puppy and promptly returned it to the store the next morning hoping for a return or exchange. Although I had my receipt from the day before, all the packaging info and the toy the store clerk refused to do anything for me and told me "if we took everything back, we wouldn't be in business". So BUYER BEWARE: although the receipt indicates that they will return or exchange, as a dissatisfied customer I can said they most certainly do not! read more

It's very hard to find a good pet store that has everything that you need, that is creative, and something that your pet will love. I loved this little store and highly reconmend it to anybody who a dog and wants to spoil them! They have handmade toys, (I bought one, and my dog literally is obssessed with it!), gourmet pet treats, high end dog beds, stylish leashes, clothes, and accessories.
