Unfortunately, my experience with Nikki Harris, who is also listed as a general manager, has been the complete opposite. For months, I have been asking how I can actually receive my wines, and I have the emails to prove it. I never received a single response or clear direction. The whole communication around this has been terrible. When Nikki finally did reply, it was with a rude and dismissive message, one that I've attached here for transparency, without ever acknowledging my prior outreach. This is not the way paying customers should be spoken to or treated, especially when they have been spending money and not able to get clarity on their products. I had already canceled my membership before this exchange, but had I not, I certainly would have afterward. Her tone and lack of professionalism were unacceptable, and it made clear to me that she does not understand what respectful customer service looks like. She also had to backtrack on her email without even knowing the facts. The worst! I understand that closures and operational challenges happen, but respect and clear communication should never be optional. Unfortunately, Nikki Harris demonstrated neither.

Our server was Laura. She was nice and funny. They had $25 flight specials. I went with the Sayanara Flight which had white wines. I really enjoyed them and they weren't too sweet. My friend had an NA wine which she enjoyed. We ordered the Truffle Fries and Meatballs. Both dishes were tasty. I enjoyed the aioli that came with the fries. They had discounted wines for purchase. Not all bottles were 50% off, however the gentleman that we spoke to went ahead and gave me a 50% discount on both the rosé and pinot grigio that I purchased which was so appreciated! It seems like there are quite a few businesses around town that are closing. I'm sad to see Mutiny go, but I'm glad my friend and I got to dine in on their final night.

I often pass by it going through a shortcut to I-45 and sometimes going home around the area. It's literally a 5-minute drive. I booked reservations Friday since I saw they opened up the 31st on Resy. It wasn't earlier in the week, but I knew it was the last day, and my friend and I really wanted to try. I'm glad we made reservations because they were at capacity (150 person capacity) and weren't taking any walk ins. We got there early cause Resy suggested checking out the Tasting Room before or after the reservation time. We got there about an hour earlier, and the host said he didn't know anything about that except that the Tasting Room area was used for events. Interesting. We were seated earlier on the patio on this freezing evening. At first, we were at a table that didn't have a heat lamp, but when one freed up, they were so nice to suggest that we move closer to the heat lamp since they saw us shivering. Lol. We were thankful for that. I wore fleece lined jeans and brought gloves and a beanie anyway having been in the below freezing winter in London. Laura was our server and was kind and funny. So was this other guy who checked in every now and then. He made light of their last day situation. The dining area is so beautiful inside. I love the limestone-looking interior and chandeliers. Reminds me of Fredericksburg or something. They had many large groups and a few small groups of friends or couples dining on this last day. Way to go out with a bang. A lot of the wines were selling out or already sold out around 7-8 pm. We tried the truffle fries and Sicilian meatballs with focaccia bread. I like the thick cut of the fries and the black garlic aioli. It reminded me of yuca fries. The Sicilian meatballs were a bit small, peppery and salty. I wish the marinara was a little more tart. The focaccia helped cut through the saltiness. I had 2 glasses of the NA Sauvignon blanc which was light and a little tart. They ran out of the NA red blend. My friend ordered Sayonara, one of their farewell flights which were aptly named for "goodbye". It was a great night on the patio but chilly. My friend purchased a rosé and a Pinot Grigio as part of their Last Sail wines. Actually, the Pinot Grigio wasn't part of the sale, and he was going to take off 20%, but he also made it 50% off. So nice!! I'm glad we got to try them on their last day. Bon voyage, Mutiny.

The welcoming team was friendly from the moment we walked in, and the bartender was wonderful. The only wines available were bottles at a much higher price point, which was disappointing. I'm still wondering what happened to their wine selection. Hubby did enjoy a nice cold beer served in a frosty glass, and that was perfect. Dinner was actually pretty good. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the lobster mac and cheese was tasty, although there wasn't much lobster to be found. Now for the theater itself... The seats are definitely showing their age and are getting a little rickety. Service was almost nonexistent. The one bright spot was a food runner who kindly pointed us to the QR code for the menu and even offered to bring us a printed menu. He was great. We ordered our movie snacks, but that's where things really went downhill. The popcorn was as stale as stale can be, the M&M's tasted old and a little funky, and somehow my club soda came with about four ice cubes and wasn't even very refreshing. The movie itself was good, and we still enjoyed having a much-needed date night together. Overall, though, it's sad to see this theater slipping because it used to be the place to go. I really hope they can turn things around. In the meantime, we'll be on the hunt for a new favorite theater. I'd love to hear everyone's recommendations!

They were all really good. I'm not a fan of Shiraz, but it was not as harsh as others that I've tried. Our sommelier was very knowledgeable and did a great job guiding us through our tasting. I also think that is high. Cheese and wine plates -- $7.00 fee. The reds were pretty decent wines. Their whites are in the $30 range and their reds are in the $40 range. They are boutique so wines can only be found at the winery or through their direct wine club. Staff is eager and helpful. I thought the friendliness factor was definitely welcoming. The winery is available for events and private parties. They are currently working on the patio and I expect it to be really nice come fall weather. They also offer catering options. Would be a great venue for many types of get-togethers. Pretty fun option in Houston. I think it will lead the way for more wine rooms like this. I recommend sharing a tasting to save some money. They do not waive tasting fees for any bottles purchased. Support local business but be smart!

I got 3 different IPA's, a coffee stout, a kolsch, and a hefeweizen. I liked all of them but The Whammer hazy IPA was my favorite amongst them. The atmosphere was relaxed and chill. The place had a few people enjoying a pint while looking at spreadsheets on their laptop, another guy all decked out in spandex (it's more fun saying it that way then saying a cyclist) and a few couples. Lots of plants so my ladyfriend would dig it too. The music was perfect for me and it ranged from Zeppelin to Earth Wind and Fire to The Smokey and the Bandit theme.
