He immediately made a diagnosis and began treatment. But Dr. Jagela wanted a second opinion. He recommended a retina specialist in Columbus. The specialist in Cbus concurred with Dr. Jagela's diagnosis and was exceedingly impressed that he was able to identify the problem so quickly. Any time I call the office with an issue as simple as a sty, the office will schedule me immediately. The staff even went as far as scheduling my little emergencies around my teaching schedule! I can't say enough about Dr. Jagela and his accommodating and pleasant staff. My family and I have all trusted our eyes with him over the years; we could not recommend him more!! I will continue to recommend my friends to him as everyone is beyond satisfied. If you are searching for a doctor who cares about your vision as much as you do, look no further! Two years later, got another rx for nearsightedness. Fast forward to her 12 year appointment with another doctor because she didn't want to go back to this place for how rude they were to her. The new doctor said she didn't need the prescription for nearsightedness they gave her because she was seeing worse with them than without them. She also said her vision would NOT have changed this much. Instead, she has slight astigmatism. How is a prescription screwup this bad?! We are lucky no permanent damage was done to her eyes.

They charged me $70 dollars for a six month supply of Acuvue contact lenses that have a price tag for a year supply at roughly $55-$60 bucks. Price gouging at it finest. Also, who doesn't give you a year supply when you go once a year.

This was probably the best visit to an eye doctor I've had. After filling out the new patient paperwork, I only had to wait a couple minutes before they took me to get started. Dr. Long was very pleasant and patiently answered my questions. He explained throughout the eye exam what the various steps and tests were for. The exam itself was thorough but not unnecessarily long. They sell glasses in house, but unlike some other practices, they gave me a copy of my prescription up front so that I didn't feel pressured into buying from them. I did browse their selection and really liked it, so I plan to buy from them. The salesman was very pleasant and answered my questions but left me alone to browse without hovering over my shoulder the whole time like some are known to do. I did not purchase glasses the same day, but I plan to go back and buy from them, so I'll update this review when I do that. In summary - can't recommend these folks enough. I don't know if a visit to the eye doctor can be enjoyable, but if it can, then this one was. ***Update - I did go back to buy glasses from them. The saleswoman was very helpful and patient and they were ready quickly. Insurance and payment was painless. Highly recommended!

He's an excellent optometrist, but the business side of his office seems to be a little erratic…read more The office hours don't match what's posted on the web, phone calls often go unanswered, and it takes up to 3 weeks to get prescription eyeglasses or contact lenses. Communication between the staff and Dr. Sullivan is poor, sometimes resulting in mistakes in orders. A trip to the eye doctor shouldn't be this frustrating.
