He took over the project after a mess (very poor HardieBacker board installation) left by the previous tile guy I had to let go. Daniel did the tiling work around the shower and the adjacent jet-tub. He also did the floor. He installed metal trims (Schluter edge trims) at the borders/edges/corners of the shower/jet-tub area tiles and decoupling membrane (Schulter Ditra) under the floor tiles. He takes his time paying attention to details, levelness of the walls and tile layout. He uses laser level for horizontal and vertical set of the tiles. He is very good in communication both with phone calling and texting. He is punctual and lets you know if there are any changes. He is open-minded. He listens to any concern you might have and reacts to it. He works as clean as possible. In summary, I would recommend Daniel of DLO Tile to anybody who needs tile work to be done on their bathrooms.

I gave his company…read more5 stars for the work done in 2024 and will give him only 1 star, if that, for the way I have been treated now. When I gave him the perameters of the work, he completely understood and suggested ways I could save money on the project. When he didn't call to make an appointment with my tenant, I contacted him, left messages by phone and email, and he acted as though we had never talked, changed the parameters of the work to something entirely different that I didn't want done, finally gave me an outrageous figure which didn't include what I had asked to be done. It was evident that he had a change of mind on doing the work, and I told him that I would have appreciated hearing his concerns and the truth. I will not contact him again in the future for any more work. He isn't the trustworthy business person I thought he was.
