I checked in and had a seat and although I was early I was taken in quickly. Sammie (sp) was doing my hair and she was friendly. She me if I wanted water with ice (I did lol). It was just all around clearly good at handling my hair. I have found some hair stylists did struggle with my thicker South Asian hair but she was good. Clearly has the experience. Also apparently she does make-up too. PRICE: for my haircut and blowout was $60 without the tip. The tips must be paid in cash I believe. PARKING: behind the building. And on Saturdays this place is very close to the Bel Air Farmer's market. Just saying you can get some nice flowers and a great cut together. So overall, I would really recommend this place. I try to come every few months for a relaxing facial. My experience today was not as pleasant as my other two visits. I've been trying out different estheticians to see which one I like best for my facial. I booked at a certain time to try one a specific esthetician only for a different person to be there on the day of my appointment, saying the original esthetician is doing massages all day. I guess my visit must have been one of the earlier ones bc there was no one water available; it's usually in the lounge area. As it was early in the day, I was surprised that there were no slippers my size (7), the tissue box was empty at the counter in the changing area, and there was nearly no toilet paper left. I hope these are all anomalies because my prior two experiences were more pleasant. Overall I'd give this place a 4/5 but if today had been my only experience there, it would have been a 3/5. I'm hoping my next visit will be more pleasant.

Ironically, it just happens to be 3%! As a client, it is not my responsibility to pay your credit fee/overhead fee. That is your cost of doing business! Also, I believe you take that deduction as a business expense on your taxes. Most importantly, in all US states, it is illegal for merchants to charge a fee for using a debit card, including surcharges. This is because the Durbin Amendment prohibits debit card surcharges. While some states have laws restricting or prohibiting credit card surcharges, debit cards are specifically exempt, meaning businesses cannot add fees for using them. In this tough economy, I'm surprised a business would attempt a money grab for services that are discretionary in nature, and typically, only received as the budget allows.
