I've been eyeballing this place for quite some time. When you go to the Gather Hall, it's hard to choose where to go because everything looks good. Finally we decided to come here on a Friday night. Their menu is simple and you can order online for pickup. We decided to get: Combo meal -3 piece tender (Decibel Dry Spiced Tossed -Side of Cured Cukes (English cucumber, gochugaru paste, sesame, soy vinaigrette -Side of Waffle Fries My Mr. - 3 piece wing combo (gouchujang ranch sauce) - Kimchi We got our meals less than 15 minutes. I absolutely loved my side Cucumber Cukes. It was light and packed with flavor. The tenders were SUPER huge! What kept me from giving this a 5 star is the thick breading on the chicken. You taste the chicken but my preference is I don't like the breading to be thick. It was good though. I liked dipping it in their signature sauce. My Mr enjoyed his wings however he agreed with me that the breading was too thick. I can see us coming back and trying other items on the menu. read more

My lady and I had been wanting to try Decibel for a while and finally got around to doing so recently. Overall, we though it was good, but not great. Honestly, I feel they used too much breading on the chicken. I like this location being inside the Gatherall Food Hall because it adds to the diversity here. Decibel is always a good idea, and I'm so happy this local gem has found a new home at the Gatherall in Factory 52. I was expecting a line when I arrived for a weekday lunch, but was happily surprised to walk up and place my order. This location has easy-to-use kiosks at the front of it, so you can quickly scroll through the menu and place your order at the same time. I decided on the 4 piece tender combo with Gochujang BBQ and Cured Cukes, with a Corn Dog on the side because why not? Everything had a perfect crunch to it, that only comes with being double fried, Korean-style. The Gochujang BBQ sauce is a little sweet, a little spicy, and all delicious. The cucumbers also had a nice dressing on them, but were a little soft for my taste. Next time I think I'd stick with the Mac Salad, which is always a solid choice. The Corn Dog is a fun way to mix up your meal, and I loved how saucy it was. My eyes were bigger than my stomach, but the tenders made great leftovers later on that afternoon. The Gatherall is great because there are already several food options for everyone in your group to choose from - and it just keeps on growing! So excited to see Decibel delivers (very quickly) to Hi-Wire Brewing in Area 52. Cauliflower bites were still warm and crispy and the Asian glaze was just spicy enough. I was first introduced to them a year or two ago at their location inside Esoteric Brewing, but when their new location opened inside Factory 52 in Norwood, I had to go back! I've had many things on their menu, but my favorite by far is their chicken tenders with gochujang bbq and their waffle fries. I got ginger soy cauliflower, Wakame, and white rice all for about $20. The flavors were great, but I had some raw batter bits hidden in the cauliflower that left a bad texture. Also they use styrofoam and plastic items so that was a bummer. But overall I had a decent experience here and would be willing to give it another try. read more

Decibel proved to be a symphony of mediocrity. I was so excited that Cincinnati finally got a Korean fried chicken restaurant, and it was completely disappointing. The marinated cucumbers were flavorless, the chicken tenders were all breading. The fried pickles were bottom rung, prefab, pre-frozen, and flavorless. Also, a little expensive for such mediocre food. I felt like I was in an overpriced Korean McDonalds. It's sad. You can order on one of three tablets and wait to pick up the order at their window or have it delivered to one of the breweries at Factory 52. Excellent Korean fried chicken, however the price is outrageous expensive. 10 wings and 2 sides cost $35! That's $3.50 per tiny little wing.

I'm torn between 3 and 4. gave 4 because i decided it was my ordering error that knocked it back to 3. when ordering for delivery, they give the option to have the wings/ tenders tossed in sauce or SOS. fearing soggy wings, I chose SOS. my bad. the breading is thick and fell off the wings ( which are quite large) when I tried to eat them. it was still pretty crunchy so definitely would advise getting them tossed in the sauce. Don't know why they even give the option for not tossing as it isn't very good that way. the waffle fries were good ( and plentiful). the dressing on the cukes was gloppy and heavy for my taste, had hoped for a light seasoned vinegar dressing to offset all the fried food. if I try them again, I would go for the tenders tossed in sauce. read more

Currently vomiting up raw chicken at 2 am from this place. Do not eat here. My wife and I have ordered from here before where the mozzarella Stick was cold. Coming from working in a kitchen, it looks like they pre cook their food and then pop it in the fryer to serve and they must not be following time temperature control. Decibel catered a birthday party for my son at Fretboard 52 and went above and beyond! Couldn't have been happier - food was delicious, and staff was very attentive. They even came over a couple of hours after setting up the food to make sure we didn't need anything else, and provided boxes and tray covers for all of the leftovers. Excellent service! read more
