We were greeted by the friendly salesman, who set up an appt to meet us at our house and discuss measurements. He then contacted us and told us our quote was ready and we thought it was going to be numbers on a piece of paper. Were we ever surprised! Instead of numbers on a page, he had a full 3D drawing of our house with different models of sunrooms to make it more affordable and yet still providing the high quality "Canadian Made" product we were wanting! Online quoting is convenient, if a bit fussy going back and forth, but sending accurate pictures of the job is important. Pricing seemed fair. Our only problem with our initial project was the timing of arrival. Stephen arrived about an hour and a half after the appointed time. Stephen did text to let us know he was unavoidably delayed, and it appeared to be one of those things and not representative of their usual service. We are going to try them again on another painting project and are confident it will go smoothly.

I had a few small things to be done in my apartment: painting the bathroom and installing a couple…read moreof curtain rods. The handyman showed up right on time and was efficient, friendly, neat, and very well-organized. He started by applying one coat of paint to the bathroom walls, telling me right from the start that, in his experience, it was going to need three coats to cover the colour underneath. Since I had been given a quote for two coats, this would be a bit extra to the estimate. Once the first coat of paint had been applied, he installed the curtain rods and hung the curtains for me. The installation is now very sturdy and the place looks much nicer. He then went back and did the second coat of paint. He had me take a look at it after, to decide whether I was OK with it as it was, or if I would like the third coat. Although there is a very, very slight remnant of the former colour, I decided that I was OK with that because otherwise everything in the room would be too white. Overall, I am very pleased with the result. He was extremely neat and cleaned up after himself, although I didn't see that he made any mess anyway. I guess the only downside for me is that I find their prices a bit on the high side and that's my reason for 4 instead of 5 stars. However, in fairness, I should probably have asked more questions beforehand and/or had more than one company give me an estimate. I recognize that things in general are a lot more expensive these days.

Please BEWARE of this business! They caused a fire in my basement while soldering washer valves and…read morecovered up the damage so I would not know the true extent of it! They operated without any safety equipment and I had to run up and get my personal fire extinguisher to put out the fire. I also later realized that it was only a matter of replacing the valve spindles when Reliance came in to fix up their damage, so they sold me an unsafe and inflated repair method as well. It was only a week later that I got suspicious when I saw molten plastic in a cabinet above the fire location. When I opened up the air vent on top, I saw the fire had damaged major wiring going into the electrical panel next to the washer! I immediately notified them but they refused to pay for the damage caused and ghosted my calls and messages thereafter. I had to rip out all the cabinets and drywall to replace all the burnt wires. BEWARE, this business is located on my street and even then they have behaved this way. Joe provided solid numbers, and showed me lots of pictures. I consulted with my wife, and we decided to go ahead with Joe's team to do the work. There were no high pressure tactics and even when we asked for price for just a new tub and tiles in that area, Joe happily gave an estimate. In the end, we decided with a full bathroom rebuild. Though the schedule had a bit of an issue, once confirmed, Joe and team stuck to their scheduled tasks and provided updates. The tile work (floor and bath tub) is neat and tight. The overall finish is great. We really like our new bathroom. Joe provided his advice and took us to stores to select materials. He also had a schedule of payments that was clear. Joe was always easy to reach, and was open about everything. I would definitely use him again, whether it be for a small job, or redoing a bathroom from scratch.
