When Scott Landa (who, in the interest of full disclosure, is the husband of a former coworker) came out to take a look at my roof he had an entirely different, and thankfully less expensive, opinion. After a quick repair, Scott was able to fix the area of my roof that I was concerned about. As he was leaving, I asked if I needed a new roof. Scott's answer was no. I not only appreciated Scott's professionalism, but also his honesty. I'm sure he would have loved to put an entirely new roof on my home, but it wasn't needed and he was able to accurately assess the situation and didn't rip me off. Due to a recent hailstorm, we needed to have our roof replaced. After interviewing several roofing…read morecontractors, we chose eRoof to perform the work. Their representative, Garret H., presented a thorough plan for completing the work, assured us that he would coordinate with our insurance company as much as we required, and had a plan that would get the work done in just a few weeks. The eRoof bid was also in-line with other bids we had received to do the work. At the same time, we decided to upgrade our gutter system, which was the original one from 1959. The new system we chose included a cover to eliminate the need for gutter cleaning. We also needed to fix our chimney cap, which was falling apart in large chunks. eRoof also gave us competitive pricing for both projects and integrated that work into the overall work plan. The chimney cap replacement was completed first. That work began on a Monday and was finished the next day. The roof replacement happened on Friday, and the gutter system was hung the following Monday. All of the work was completed in an 8-day span. Throughout the process, Garret H. worked closely with our insurance adjuster to ensure that the new roof system met the current code requirements, with the insurance company agreeing to pay for the additional underlayment called for in the code regulations. The work crews were professional, courteous, and respectful of our property. The cleanup left the grounds in good condition. In conclusion, we are very pleased with the results in all three cases - the roof, the gutter system, and the chimney cap. I hired them to remove and replace baseboards and door trim through Home Depot's Pro service. They double-booked the day my project was supposed to start and instead of rescheduling (which I offered), they sent the owner's brother-in-law - who doesn't even work for the company - into my home. He caused damage, and the work was sloppy and incomplete. The workmanship was terrible: - Boards weren't nailed securely - Large gaps between baseboards and walls - No caulking at seams - Only some nail holes filled - Some corners are mitered, others aren't - they're just boards stuck together for an unfinished, inconsistent look - They skipped spray painting the boards (as outlined in the contract), left several unpainted, and only painted the front face of others. After several text messages with Adam around my disappointment with the incomplete and sloppy work, they did offer to come back and fix things (contract has a workmanship guarantee) - but at that point, NO THANK YOU. The trust was gone, and I wouldn't feel comfortable letting them back in my home. I will likely have to rip half of it out and hire someone else to redo it - leaving me out a significant amount of money, and they don't care. Adam takes an 'Adam first' approach vs. a customer first approach as advertised. The finished product looks like a rushed DIY job I could've done myself. Unprofessional from start to finish.

We were in no real hurry but they went ahead and scheduled when the person was by himself and did not speak English. That language thing is not the issue...it is that they sent him alone knowing this. The fixes were made to some of the other work as it was done right the first time and this team made it seem like we should be happy they gave us something for free for it..some bracket for the gutter. There were times when -and I do understand family things that come up-that communication and follow up were awful. Lucky for us my husband works from home and can flex his schedule. We chose this team because they presented the scope of work so much better than anyone else and not based on the cost of the service alone. Too bad you didn't live up to that.
