We interviewed several pool companies and…read moreafter great consideration, we went with LaGasse Pool. 4 years later, our pool has a massive leak and the pool pump that is completely inadequate, we have learned for our Pool, has gone bad. During the building of our pool, we failed an inspection on the pipe before they poured the cement. The pipe is cracked and causing a major leak. Clearly they did not fix it properly. They're going to have to drain my pool to fix it properly. We learned after having two independent Pool companies come out and look at our pump that has gone bad after only 4 years, it is inadequate and the incorrect size for our pool. When I called Lagasse Pools to inform them that we had a massive leak, they really didn't seem to care after only four years of building a pool. We are meticulous about keeping our pool clean and taking care of our things. I would never recommend them to anyone. A nightmare to deal with.

We had a number of issues with them including delays, 2 employees fighting that caused the damage to my window/window screen, destruction of my flower bed in the front yard, damage to the sidewalk and wood threshold. We meet with Chad and came to a mutually agreed solution. The pool was great until I started to notice that the pool was needing to have water added almost every day in the winter. We called them and the answer was "that is normal". The call was made before the 1 year warranty expired. Our mistakes was believing them. Then we found 2 holes on the wall of the wall. When the wall was touch it crumbled like chalk. We called them and they sent out the contractor. At first, he started to blame us by saying that the pool was not being maintained. We showed him several pool chemistry results and he agreed to fix it. He came and did it without draining the pool which seemed suspicious to us. This did not fix the problem. We hired Ecoloboost who detects pool leaks and they found that the seal around the light was missing. We had to drain the pool for the repairs. We called La Gasse and at first they said that the pool passed inspection and the 1 year warranty (our pool is 2 years old) was over so that it wasn't their problem. I reminded them that the overpass at FIU also passed inspection before collapsing. Ecoloboost sent us a video showing that there wasn't a seal around the pool light which was the culprit. We contacted La Gasse and Chad tried to say the seal had deteriorated because we hadn't maintained the pool even when the email from Ecoloboost clearly stated that there was no seal. A deteriorated seal of a pool would show even a little bit of seal. Chad offered to pay half of the $650 it cost to have Ecoloboost fix what shouldn't have happened in the 1st place. We counteroffer with $500 since our losses included the cost of high water bills and lost time from work. The pool longer loses water so Ecoloboost did their job. Chad at La Gasse has ignored our counteroffer so we have no choice but to sue. Please do not let this happen to you.

They give you the feeling that they want to be there and that it's just not another job. It's an odd mix of a crew with the owners and management being Israeli and the contracting crew being Brazilian, but it works! The crew took their time and took great pride in their work, making sure everything was just right. I actually enjoyed having them around. They showed up for work promptly in the morning and went straight to work immediately, taking a break only for lunch. Pricing may be different than others, but that is up to you to decide. You get what you pay for and I got my money's worth here. Essentially you purchase all of the items you are remodeling like tile or a new vanity, for instance, and they charge for labor. Everything else is included. There is no worrying about time constraints. The job is one when everyone is satisfied.

Once we described what we thought we wanted the designer helped us make a cohesive design and then they did the same with the closet. We agreed with the price which was more reasonable than some of the others we received. And then the work began. Lots of people in and out all but everyone polite and conscientious. When the work was complete we were very pleased and extremely happy. The closet can now hold my husband's and mine clothes without need a set of drawers. The bathroom is now a modern double sink instead of a 1970 single sink and dated room. We definitely we use them again because we trust them and they listen and perform wonderfully!!!!!

He and his dad who's obviously a seasoned pro came over and literally sketched out a rough plan on my kitchen table that I loved. For the sake of being prudent I did have 2 other contractors come over and while one seemed OK and was a bit cheaper I felt I wasn't comparing apples to apples. This was my moms condo and everything was dated. Mike wrote me up for all top of the line appliances with beautiful granite counters. I am so glad he was able to schedule me for August and bingo we are now done! We knocked out the wall to the dining room and really opened up the place. New paint, fans, lights, bathtubs, tile and vanity's in the baths. He just said, "We have someone in the area, I'll tell him to come by." Having waited ALL DAY, and expecting company in the next half hour, I said "No, this is not a convenient time for me." Did I get an, "oops, I'm sorry. I can reschedule the appointment?" ...NOPE AGAIN. I got an "OK. I'll let them know you will be going with someone else." Stunned by this complete lack of care about any shred of customer service, I said, "um, ok. I guess I'll let others now that you don't want my business." "OK bye," said the asian-sounding man that took my call. That was it. Took a day off of work to wait for these "professionals" that couldn't care less about my business. I still wake up thankful for him and his team. Gary was very hand-on and patient with me. I asked for significant changes; taking down structural wall, sealing original back door, adding large patio doors, re-building and enlarging the entire kitchen. Every inspection passed on the first try! I love the crew. They showed up promptly every day. They did wonderful work and left each day cleaned up because we were still living in the home. Everyone was so respectful and talented: Michelle, Chuck, Nick, Gus, Maurizio, David, Randy and so many others worked on my home. I will always be grateful for how much care they put into re-building my home. The payment method was different than I expected, but we saved so much money because Gary was so respectful of our budget. I am so happy with GLK. Son David is a rip off and wants to charge you for things you don't need. He wanted to charge me $2650 for a leak I didn't have. All it was was the end cap on the super gutter had cracked allowing water to rot near by fascia board. I had 2 other companies check. Then he was going to return with the cap and wanted $700 for that job. He never called back or returned. I found the cap myself on line for $15 and job including fascia board repair done for $300. They even resealed down the tip of the flat roof which David was supposed to do also. I have a 10 year warranty on that flat roof. It's only been 3 years. He is obligated to honor it if I ever do get a leak. Do not use pro tek with this David Bernard. Bad company and a total rip off. Glad I was smart enough to know what he was telling me was not correct and had 2 others come and look. I will be reporting him to the BBB.
