He immediately gave me a quote of $500 and said he could have someone out the very next day. His employee went out on Sunday 8/5 and did the repairs. It looked like I really needed a new roof rather than a quickie patch job but I didn't have a loose ten grand or so NOW for a new roof so I wound up checking around. Tim was the first one available in the next few days so I decided to give him a try. He came out promptly a day or two later and looked at my pitiful repair start and said he could fix that and then pointed out several other problem shingles I had not even noticed. Wow, sez me to myself, looks like this guy knows roofs! And I noticed his ad said "nothing over $500!" And what he proposed to fix, thought I, would easily cost $500. WRONG! His estimate was way under $500! And he only spent maybe as much as 3 hours on the roof. And wow, did he do a great job! He even fixed a problem I didn't know I had with no extra charge. So I pays him and gave him a nice tip. And sure enough, a week later we got a rare heavy thundershower. And I do mean heavy! And the leak? Not a drop. Wow, sez I, that's what I've always wanted!
