Kim did my wedding flowers and they were perfect. She knocked it out of the park! We stumbled upon this place because we wanted to do business with a local mom and pop shop - and thank goodness we happened upon Deen's. The table arrangements and big statement pieces were gorgeous and exactly what I asked for with big white flowers and greenery tumbling out. Kim incorporated eucalyptus into everything which was so beautiful. She put together a 70 foot long garland that wove around the trees around the ceremony area. My bouquet was also SO beautiful - as were the bridesmaid's bouquets. When I was over budget (per usual because I always pick the priciest things!), Kim worked with me to pick alternative flowers that would bring the price down, but still accomplish the same look. I called to place an order for a Mother's Day floral delivery since I live out of state. I wanted to speak to someone since the website was very minimal in terms of what the options were and what one may anticipate to get for their purchase. The person I spoke with was professional and kind; but I wasn't excited to hear the prices for bouquets were more than what was posted online. So, a $65 minimum had to be spent instead of the advertised $45 online. Annoying, if you ask me. You'll say it's my fault for continuing with the purchase? Perhaps. The arrangement they assembled was attractive, but the flowers look sickly. I'm not confident the flowers were worth the money spent and for that I'm feeling taken advantage of. But hey, they were friendly, professional, and delivered on time, so that's something. The next time I need flowers delivered in that area I will shop around. read more

I called from Leavenworth, KS, at almost 3:30 yesterday (12/4/14), to see if they could help me get flowers to my granddaughter on the base in Gulfport by the time the shop closes at 5:00. It was her 13th birthday, and I had failed to send her package in time. I knew this was the first time anyone had ever sent her flowers, and the woman I spoke with did a wonderful job helping me figure out how to get a turquoise color theme worked into a fairly small budget, AND get it delivered by 5:00! My granddaughter loved the flowers, beautiful white lilies with greenery and a big, sparkly, turquoise bow. She was just amazed that it was her favorite color, and on FaceTime later in the evening, it was the most she had ever actually smiled and talked to us. I drove past here on my way to getting bloodwork done for my wedding license, and figured I would stop in and talk to him about doing two bouqets for my very small wedding. The guy seemed clueless about flowers, and took my name and number and said he would call me after he talked to someone else about and let me know what we would do and prices etc...he never called. I call him a few days later and he said he would call me back....he never called. So i decided to use another florist, and the morning of my wedding who would call besides Deen's Florist! Telling me my bouqets are ready... PLEASE!! We never went over exactly what I wanted AND I never got a price AND you never communicated with me...and you except my to pick up my mystery boquets the morning of my wedding? I think not.... I heard that the guy working here isn't even a florist and doesnt have one working, his dad or someone owned this and the snowball stand next door and left them to him when he died and wanted him to keep them running, so I guess they really ARE as clueless as they seem. read more

I live in NC and was in the process of trying to get a very nice last minute funeral spray delivered to Marshall Funeral Home in Biloxi, Ms for my 2 youngest children who were making some arrangements for their dads funeral service on Friday Dec21st at 8 am. I was very concerned about an arrangement being delivered there on time. Even FTD couldn't guarantee that so I continued searching and found Deens Florist Website which was local to where the services were, located in Gulfport, Ms. I made a call that was answered even after hours and I was promised that he could and would help me in the best way possible and have a beautiful arrangement guaranteed to be there in time for the 8am service. He also made sure that I wasn't overcharged unnecessary charges. He was very professional and very compassionate to how important this time of delivery was. He guaranteed me it would be a beautiful spray delivered before 8am and it was there as promised. I highly recommend this Florist to anyone looking for a beautiful and reasonably priced arrangement.
