I called on that prior day and the phone went straight to phone mail where I left a message. I also sent messages via text to the phone number that I had. Since it was getting late in day, I didn't know if anyone was coming or not. A few minutes ago I found a different phone number and called, apparently speaking to the owner. She saw where I had an appointment on April 2nd. But didn't see where it was rescheduled to the 9th. She said that Marie was sick today (which today is the 9th, the rescheduled date). Then she said that "she can't control her employees" and that comment completely blew me away. She did offer to come out tomorrow or another day. She also said that she was on vacation on spring break last week, and guessed that my request for cleaning services "fell through the cracks " and she couldn't help when mistakes are made (by accident). I do understand that mistakes can be made but I did everything possible to try to communicate with this company to no avail, then I listened to a myriad of excuses. The only thing I could find was to update the review so if this is a second review, I tried to correct the first one. I believe she deserves five stars for her timely reply and the genuine sincerity she put forth. I will be calling her again and look forward to working with her.

Did they take the job knowing that they couldn't fulfill (but also that they'd prevented me from hiring anyone else) or did they have an emergency?
