The visitation was well done prior to the church service, and a funeral procession afterwards to the cemetery was seamless. Grandma in 2005 had made no plans, and Ross and company gently guided us through the entire process, helping us try to find the path that would satisfy both her wishes and the needs of our grief. Later on my parents both did a full pre-need through Ross. 'Pre-need' can be well-shaped - if you want to have the entire process decided and paid for in advance, that can be done - or to a lesser degree, whatever you're comfortable with, they'll work through it and explain it thoroughly, several times if need be. After all, they're the professionals, and they know what needs doing. When Mom passed in 2011, all we had to do was grieve; everything else was handled. Pat and Ross III were lifesavers.
