I came here because of a Groupon deal and was very impressed by how informative the class was. While I have been a shooter for over 20 years, I hadn't had a concealed carry permit in a few years and I had forgotten some of the important caveats like how to interact with police if you ever have to draw your firearm in defense as well as the proper method for informing a potential threat that you intend to use deadly force. In addition, Mr. Morelock made the paperwork needed to file with the state easy to understand. From the time I took the class to the time I had my permit was only about 7 weeks. I've received training in multiple states, and always appreciate when instructors have LE experience. I believe they provide an insight into the wide range of practical/legal self defense issues, and often provide real-life examples they have experienced to shed light on the subject. As their firearm sales are online-oriented, they do not focus on having physical inventory. But shopping their website, and more specifically signing up for their email list, their prices are fair and service is good. The email list will also keep you up to date on advanced training opportunities that Jeff and his associates offer. I highly recommended Jeff's training for anyone interested in all aspects of self defense.

The big difference was that at the old location they had their own gun range. Their new facility is located at a County operated gun range. It's an outdoor range. At the new location they have more open space and they're able to display their inventory . In their new space, there is a workshop in which the gunsmith Marcelo has his gunsmith shop. He is an excellent gunsmith and very knowledgeable about firearms in general. I have used him several times with excellent results. Ted can seem kind of cranky sometimes but basically he is a good person. His wife works there frequently and is very service oriented and a good listener.

I did the concealed class here about $86 the guy who taught it is great, knowledgeable, honest, and entertaining. He did take 3and 1/2 hours for what I believe was supposed to be a 1&1/2 hour class but I wasn't too bothered by it- and I get the feeling if you share with him you have a time commitment he would make sure to speed it up. Went to the range after about $26 which in hindsight is the same process as their membership which has a bunch of perks... overall there's a LOT TO DO HERE but you should definitely do your research and strategizing to get the best bang for your buck so you don't mis out but this is a great option for anything pew pew related.

And touching strangers unnecessarily IS STUPID!!! I was the only customer in here. I looked around the very tiny shop and saw a few Turkish shotguns, some cheap handguns and some OVERPRICED Glocks. I bought a Glock 19 Gen 5 for $500 at Britton's last year, and this guy was asking $679.00 !!! Most of his ammo was overpriced, same with mags. The guy (owner I'm guessing) stared at me the entire 5 minutes I was in the store and I left without buying anything. There are too many GOOD gun shops around Tampa Bay to waste time in a crappy place like this.
