It's usually not packed with the course layout so it flows pretty nicely, that helps with the disc traffic as well. It offers everything from open spaces to thickets of trees. :-) Around hole 1 is a public park, pond (open for catch and release fishing), waterpark, baseball field, and often you'll see someone having a photoshoot with the beautiful surroundings. So watch out for goobers walking across your path when throwing your disc...but other than that you're great! I definitely recommend at least trying this course once...you'll be hooked...chiggers or not...rofl!

My Wonderful Wife purchased this hunting trip for me and two of my friends as a Christmas Present What was supposed to be a fun-filled two-night "Thermal Hog Hunt" turned into an ego filled nightmare from Travis "we run this Hunt" and Steven A.K.A. '"Sheriff Aint Happening" Both Steven (Running for Sheriff) and Travis are the worst "Hog Hunting Guides" on Planet Earth (Waxahachie) . To start I was told during a safety briefly that I had to take my Backpack which contained my water flask off for without explanation (Overly Authoritative Guides). Second, Steven's driving habits and safety are highly questionable. We nearly ran off the road numerous times in search of Hogs driving up and down the highway Pirate-Style (One hand on the wheel, body half out the car). He was on his phone running off the road as well on the highways. Around 9:00pm I mentioned that I needed to go back to the lodge and was told "that ain't happening" (Again overly authoritative guides). I came up with a medical reason as an excuse and we stopped by a few more spots on the way to the lodge. I was going to call it a night as I was tired of both of these two clowns. The rest of my party used to restroom and the Two guides let themselves in the lodge and made in a point to stop the hunt and mention that we didn't pay the rest of the deposit, even though I showed them receipts that we did. What could have been a simple situation turned into a heated altercation verbally which I tried unsuccessful to deescalate. Both Guides were overly combative and had extremely poor bedside mannerisms to boot regarding not getting paid. I told them now is now the time to stop the hunt, this is a billing dispute, let's continue the hunt and we will sort it all out tomorrow. Another very bothersome fact was that both guides wanted to stop the hunt 4 hours early for some reason even before any argument ensued. The hunts are supposed to last 6 (six) hours, we were only going to hunt for 4. 7-pm - 11pm. When it should have been later in the evening like 9-10, form what I understood to 3am. After negotiations failed: They refused to leave our Lodging accommodations and stopped the Hunt. Refused to wait until tomorrow to resolve it and lied about the Hunt ending at 11pm when it was supposed to end at 3am. After telling both unprofessional employees to leave numerous times I called the police feeling like this situation was out of control and could end poorly especially if they decided to kick us off the property . Both Guides lied to their boss and the Police who showed up and threaten us with Jail for Criminal Tress-Pass when I was trying to deescalate the problem without incident, and I am the one who called for help.. Unfortunately the staff took it upon themselves to lie about the whole thing and have the lead guide "Brent or Brad" tell police to kick us off. No one tried to resolve the issue properly, nor did the police act properly either. Very last time I call 911 for anything! Photo proves we paid.

We hired Mr. Bobby and his company (signature pool and patio) to remodel our pool…read more While the remodel itself was completed quickly, we were disappointed that we had to clean up after the crew once the work was finished. As soon as the pool was refilled, we immediately noticed blue spiderweb-like marks in the plaster. I brought this to Bobby's attention, and he stated he would stop by to inspect it and notify the plaster crew. Unfortunately, nothing was ever done to address the issue, and our attempts to communicate with him were repeatedly ignored. Further, Bobby also strongly recommended that we use his cleaning crew for the weekly pool maintenance, stating it would improve the outcome of the plaster and help maintain the warranty. We agreed and hired his service. However, within a few weeks, we noticed the plaster beginning to look dirty and discolored. We attempted to brush and clean it ourselves, but the staining would not come off. Once again, I contacted Bobby, and once again he said he would come take a look , but he never did. Over time, the problems continued. A few months later, the tiles began breaking apart. We sent emails, made phone calls, texted, and provided photos, but received no response. Nearly a year after completion, Bobby finally came out, only to charge us again to replace the broken tiles. Unfortunately, within two months, the repaired tiles cracked again, and after that we never heard back from him despite additional attempts to reach out. The biggest issue here is the lack of quality assurance, accountability, and follow-through. We invested a significant amount of money into this remodel and did not receive the quality product or customer service we were promised. After doing additional research, it appears that when problems arise, ignoring calls and failing to respond to customers may be a pattern with Bobby and his company. This experience has taught us to be far more thorough when researching contractors before hiring them in the future. Needless to say, they do not clean our pool anymore!

I have been doing this for several years so we have been on quite a few guided fishing trips. This was THE BEST guided fishing trip we have been on so far!! Larry is a people person and he does everything he can to make sure you have an excellent time. A front had blown through the day before so the weather had the fishing messed up. Larry worked hard and took us to many different spots in an effort to make sure we caught the most fish possible. He is definitely the kind of guide who will work hard for his money when the situation calls for it. Larry provides all of the gear and bait you need. His boat is outfitted with side scan sonar and a nice stereo so you can enjoy some good country music while you fish. You only need to show up with some drinks and snacks plus any any other various stuff you might require like sunscreen or bug repellent.
