Unfortunately, our experience was made even more memorable by the course marshal, Dan, who passionately reminded us (multiple times) that joy and relaxation are not permitted here. He found it appropriate to yell in my 25 yo daughter's face, "everyone else here is trying to enjoy their day too!!!!" He's an older gentleman, and based on his behavior, we're genuinely concerned for his mental health and well-being. We're considering starting a GoFundMe for his much needed therapy sessions and organizing a weekly prayer circle to manifest some inner peace for him in 2026. In the meantime, if you're visiting, just know you may be treated like you're in military basic training, but hey, at least your short game will be tight under pressure. :) #scrooge (If I get enough reactions to this review, I'll post the audio /video of him yelling!)

It was my first time to play it and that came from a couple of recommendations on lower cost and quicker rounds. Cost was $47 which was very high for the condition of the course. I really liked the layout of the course and I can see where it was a great course at one point. Highly disappointed.

I've been to Puttshack's Downtown Atlanta location before, so I know this concept can be a lot of…read morefun when it's managed properly. Unfortunately, this location was the exact opposite experience. The place was extremely overcrowded, and the pace of play was terrible. Nearly every hole had a backup, and by the end of the round it felt like we were watching putt-putt rather than playing it. What really stands out is that this doesn't seem like a one-time issue. After reading other reviews, I found plenty of people describing the same problems: overcrowding, constant bottlenecks, and long waits between shots. When the same complaint keeps appearing, it's no longer an issue of bad luck, it's clearly a management problem. What's most frustrating is that I've seen Puttshack get this right. The Downtown Atlanta location was busy too, but groups kept moving and the course flowed smoothly. Here, it felt like management kept packing more people into the venue without any concern for the actual guest experience, I mean the whole course moved like rush-hour traffic. Another important note would be the attentiveness of the staff. Even on a Saturday, at 3pm mind you, the lower bar was empty when we walked in, and the staff of three at the upper bar seemed to have issues managing a line consisting of two. I nearly waited 5 minutes for even an acknowledgement, which is not the kind of experience you'd expect BEFORE the evening rush. The technology and courses themselves are great, but that's hard to appreciate when you're spending most of your time waiting for the group ahead of you. For the price, I expected a lot better. Until they address the overcrowding, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. Life is too short to spend it waiting in line between putts.

This is a member's only club, and seemed to be deserted due to the cold weather and time of year. We had the dining room to ourselves. Tommy, my wife's uncle was a great host, and we enjoyed hearing family stories while munching on our breakfast. The views of the golf course were fantastic, and was only matched by the service we received from the great staff here. Everyone pitched in to serve our cozy table of six. I had a great breakfast omelette which was perfectly prepared to order, and with crunchy hash browns to boot. We took a walk around the clubhouse and met the golf shop staff downstairs as well. This is a really nice club, and if you were looking for a great place to relax, have a drink, and chase the rock around some nice bent grass greens, this would be the place to join!
