But if you ever have bad luck with a certain machine, let them know and you'll be credited back. Everyone here is helpful and friendly too, they will also loan you a bat & helmet if you don't have your own. Machines pitch baseballs & softballs from slow pitch to fast pitches as well.

It is quite convenient and has plenty of parking for most events. It is right off the newly built hiking and biking trail and very close to White Rock Lake. It has held gymnastic meets for years as well as all kinds of other less demanding opportunities to expand body and mind. It has a water park, playground, tennis courts, a fitness center with some weight machines, and open fields for the young kids to play team sports.

There used to be a pool that was rarely used. And the playground back then was pretty run down. It is A LOT better. I love the splash pad and playground together so if you have one child that wants to play on the playground and another wants to play in the splash pad it's not far away from each other where you can't keep an eye on both. The only con is that there are no restrooms just Porter potties so once you're done at the splash pad you have to change in the car or just stay wet till you get home. The Rec center has restrooms but they aren't accessible all the time and it's not close.
