My lone complaint was that we stayed here during renovations. They had appropriately provided signage noting that the laundry and gym facilities were closed due to the rehab work going on, but we still had to pay north of $200 for the stay, even with those amenities not be usable. Sort of thought there would be a "pardon our dust" discount. Oh well. The free breakfast in the morning which started at an impressive 6am was excellent. Staffer had it up and running right on time, and the food area was as clean and tidy as I have ever seen with a great selection of items. All in all, a practical place to stay that will soon be a much nicer version of itself.

Every time we've come, they've added something new: flooring, window coverings, lamps, art, furniture. It's not fancy but I always have a great night's sleep there. It's the cleanest place we've ever stayed, no matter the price point, even though it's pretty basic. The owners and staff are extremely friendly and pleasant and they work hard to make the place appealing.

I stayed on the 4th floor in Room 421, and I was extremely impressed with how clean and fresh everything was. I had the pleasure of meeting Kristy, the room attendant for the 4th floor, and she does an absolutely outstanding job. My room was spotless, smelled fresh, and you could tell that she takes real pride in her work. I stay in hotels quite a bit, and unfortunately, many are subpar when it comes to cleanliness. That was definitely NOT the case here. Kristy deserves recognition for the job she does. It makes a huge difference when you walk into a hotel room and immediately feel comfortable because you can tell it has been thoroughly cleaned and cared for. In fact all employees I encountered were super pleasant. 2 double beds came to about $109. They do have military discounts so with that the room came to about $94. The room was clean, and very comfortable to my surprise. Nice luxury feeling comforters and nice Neutrogena toiletry amenities in the bathroom. They also had a nice breakfast spread free for guests with coffee starting at 6am in the morning. We grilled one night and used the utensils the hotel had. We also used the laundry room several times and the small gym. The gym was nice. We asked to move to the second floor (#201, #203) and the manager was kind in accommodating us. The second floor rooms were in better shape, but grout and caulking in the bathroom had some mold and the ceiling showed signs of water damage. We were truly very sorry to see that Paris' only decent hotel had fallen into disrepair. I sincerely hope that the management has taken note of the maintenance issues and will remediate the problems. Paris is an amazing town and deserves a good hotel.
