I was in need of leg stretching and use of the facilities and I was happy to see this as an upcoming stop. Facilities were clean and sufficient enough. Minimal other things available on the inside. Outside you have ample space to stretch the legs. There are plenty of picnic tables if you wanted to eat your lunch here. There is also plenty of space to allow your four-legged friends a chance to stretch their legs as well. However, parking here is a bit awkward. Made for both cars and semi trucks alike, it doesn't allow for much room to more around the lot. Sufficient best sums this place up and it serves its purpose.

This I-40 West Rest Area is located just outside Jackson, TN. This rest area has alot to offer while traveling. It offers: restrooms, parking, picnic tables, telephones, and pet exercise areas. It's clean, neatly landscaped and has easy access with clear markings with lots of parking for cars and trucks alike Bottom line: Having been a life long music but, a radio guy and a 20+ year Me Memphis resident this i-40 rest area gets my vote for coolest named stop in the world because it's THE Isaac Hayes, Tina Turner, Booker T. and the Mg's Rest Stop! "Red" button as I departed. Coffee was stocked though the attendant felt that now was the time to tidy and clean up. Okay, I worked around him and was able to get a large coffee creamered and through the ground-to-order machine. And then it went sideways. The young lady in front of me at the register was redeeming lottery tickets and the one young man was overwhelmed. As he continued trying to sort it out unsuccessfully, the line grew and grew. Now eight people waiting and for the first time ever, I abandoned the coffee. Maybe he's fine at keeping the store running when everything's good but he needs way more help with the lottery machine. Disappointing experience this morning. I'm not done with Love's - they're usually awesome - and I will eventually return to this one when I'm passing through Jackson. You could tell the mattresses and everything was good furniture. Nice mirror nice lamp nice chair air conditioner worked well. Showers were clean. Bathroom was clean sink was clean new carpet that have been placed in the ass in the last few years, very nice late lady at the front desk they checked me in. This is a good hotel would be great for a family. I'm sure the breakfast they probably got cereal and donuts and milk and you know this is comparable to a daze Inn, but it was very reasonably priced great hotel.

One side of the store had energy drinks stacked like a neon shrine; the other had more snacks than a movie theater. I grabbed a beef jerky stick longer than my arm and a Diet Coke the size of a toddler. The bathrooms? Surprisingly clean. Like, "I can actually touch the sink without flinching" clean. Someone was mopping while I was in there--an actual human who looked like they cared. It was beautiful. Back at the pump, I used the app like some kind of futuristic fuel wizard. Touchless payment, reward points, the whole deal. Filled up, stocked up, cleaned up--and rolled out feeling like I had just hit the gas station version of a spa.
