This place is super busy and crazy. There is just not enough parking spots. I mean I bet you the Walmart Shoppers took up all the parking spots. Yes... you could be circling forever trying to find a spot. This is no joke. I got annoyed looking for a parking spot. I came here to try one of the food spots inside the Deerfoot City Lodge and OMG. If I add the cost of gas and the meal, it is definitely not worth it. The Deerfoot City Lodge is quite nice and open. There is a kid play area. Lots of seating and tables. They also have special events here and there. It is not a bad mall. Only issue is the parking. I guess you can bus or train here. But if you are shopping at Walmart as well then it is definitely a bad idea. Seems like there is a second section of the Lodge. Hopefully it opens soon. Deerfoot City - Shopping Centers Near Me - Calgary, Alberta

Deerfoot City has done a great job with their "food lodge". It's open and spacious. There's a playground to keep the kids busy, a giant fireplace, lots of seating, and the feel is nice and open. The only thing missing is the food vendors. There's currently only Opa, Chronic Tacos, a pasta place and maybe one other. Signs are up for a Poke place coming soon. The lodge just opened so I imagine it won't be long until this building is bustling with all sorts of different options. read more

Deerfoot City - The outside - Shopping Centers Near Me - Calgary, Alberta

Since Cross Irons opened up, I rarely go to Deerfoot plus I've noticed it's no longer an outlet mall It's a bit run down and the stores that used to lure me (like Aldo's) aren't here anymore :( I'll usually pop by to check out the Winner's if I'm at the near by Walmart, but I don't normally plan to head here for a shopping spree. Food court is decent with your choices of Koryo, Thai Express, Edo Japan, A&W, etc. And of course, this is primo location to people watch (maybe the People of Walmart filter over here lol) read more

Very close to the airport. This mall has about 60 shops and services including Wal-Mart and Sears. If you are particularly bargain conscious,there are about 12 outlet/value stores including Winners, Sport Check and Fairweather. Deerfoot Mall is easy to reach by heading North on Deerfoot Trail to 64 Avenue, which is a main access road. And all I wanted to do was pee before the flight. read more

*NOTE: This is no longer an Outlet mall. It hasn't been for over a year now* Deerfoot Mall has always been a go to mall for me as it is walking distance from my house. They have a decent selection of stores, one of each of what you need. A big thing that has got me going there more often is the addition of EB Games to the mall. Before I was limited to buying video games at Walmart or travelling to Sunridge, now I can get all my gaming needs done, closer to home. One thing nice about this mall as well, is the Walmart Supercenter located right behind the mall. Years ago, walmart was attached to the mall, but then they built the bigger one just at the edge of the parking lot. This mall is also very good for finding deals. There is always a sale going on and a few of the store located in the mall are still an outlet, so they have their product at reduced prices. read more

I have no idea why this place gets such a low review, I've lived in the NW area, literally 10 min away from Deerfoot and I am amazed at the new and revised Deerfoot City. Such a huge upgrade to what it use to look like. The staff here is friendly, new food places to eat, unlike the regular food courts at other malls. My favorite area is at The Food Lodge by the fireplace where there are couches to sit on and Deerfoot City also offers games, books, and cards. Amazing place to be at!! Highly recommended. read more

Its a decent place to hang out and chill with friends. I love visiting winners, walmart, canadian tire, the rec room and also spending some times in the cozy lodge area with friends. Aside from cleanliness there's a lot of parking space too. read more

I'll be honest: this mall is Ghetto. But if you're anything like me, then you'll quickly get over it as you find one steal after the next. You see, this mall is an outlet mall. And an outlet mall means cheap cheap pricing. Although I can count on one hand the number of times I have been here in my lifetime, I always leave this place with at least one bag in hand. That's pretty good isn't it??? With everything from an Aldo outlet store, all the way to a couple of outlet perfume shops, Deerfoot Mall is living proof that there's a time and place for everything :) read more

This mall has come a long way from what it used to be. It is no longer a low end outlet mall. This mall is now owned by one of Vancouver's commercial builders/investor. There is a lot more new stores going in, GoodLife fitness, Quiznos, GNC these are just some of the new additions. The down side the parking is a lot tighter now. As they have build on the existing parking lots. So now less parking more stand alone shops more like an outdoor mall. Outdoor malls are really stupid for locations in Canada, does anyone not realize our crappy winters here. The outdoor idea come from California and Florida and Canada should never adapt to that well maybe Vancouver. I still like the indoor mall theme. Just because of the weather here. It's different when you are walking around in the sun with palm trees around. So far no real specialty shop that others malls don't have. But they do have an awesome location right off of Deerfoot that in itself is worth 4 stars. But I can see that parking will really suck as it already does. read more

The new outdoor experience is different but lovely. I like how they moved different elements into this place. The transformation is amazing just thinking about what the old mall did look like. Great place to do so many things at once. read more

We have been tenants here for two years, we own Showhome furniture. We are so sad to leave. The Mall is amazing with all its new improvements and has become the happening mall around town...it was really dead two years ago but they have made so many changes! This mall is perfect for a quick spending fix or shopping for things that are not high end or exclusive. I don't choose to visit here often but when I do, I walk out with what meets my needs nearly 100% of the time. Today's visit helped me to complete my Christmas shopping and it took no time at all, as you're not pushing through a crowd or walking through miles of mall and parking lot. If you enjoy the mall atmosphere and browsing, go elsewhere because your visit will otherwise be very short and likely disappointing. read more

This mall is quite far from my house but I still go to it sometime because of good life. They just started construction to update the exterior which I am very happy about. The food court inside is rather small and not many selection to chose from but that's okay. They have many different store chose and it's always clean which I'm happy about. One thing I don't like is they close early on weekend which suck so I will usually go on weekdays. Overall 4/5 good mall if you need a quick shop! read more
