Why put the women clothing on top floor and other random things like pots and pan. You really have to spend a lot of time digging in order to find something you like. Prices are cheap but you just need time.

I would like to point out that in this mall Homesense and Winners are separate but both are going…read moreto get a lashing from me. This by far is the worst set of Winners/ Homesense I have set foot in. I have been to a few other locations around Calgary but this duo here has some severe issues they need to work on, stat. Seing they are sister companies, I am not surprised at the level of customer disservice I had received from them. WINNERS- Shame on you! You should be embarrassed, seriously, I am embarrassed for you! After finding a pair of leggings with no price tag on them, you send an imbecile to check for a price and what I get back is an arbitrary number she pulled out of her ass, an arbitrary number that was 25% higher than what they actually cost! Helene, how do you know that you ask? I had a similar pair in the cart! After pointing this blatant stupidity out, the cashier, who was giving me attitude shrugs her shoulders and says, "do you want the leggings or not?" ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! I say, "get me your manager." Then she starts to profusely apologize! FOR REAL?! I finally get the manager, she gets the details and I point out the fact that her staff is incompetent, she tries to defend her, then only after she sees the second pair of leggings she, get this... it gets better... offers me a discount for the pair that has no tag! NO, I DON'T WANT YOUR BLOODY DISCOUNT! In fact, I don't want any of your merchandise after this exchange! Seriously, a discount? Its the principle. Don't screw with people in the retail industry...DON'T EVEN TRY. I storm out and I get a few looks and I don't care. Discount, okaaaaay, thats going to instill my trust back in your company. YOU CAN'T BUY ME!!! HOMESENSE- Wow, you suck the big one too. I have an item that I received from a family friend who gave me a present from Homesense, obvious because part of the sticker was still on it, I have no receipt but I generally don't return things unless I absolutely have no use for them, this was one of those things. Fugly. I take the item in expecting they will do what they do; get an item that is similar in quality and description and give you a FAIR value for it in the form of store credit. I get another clown at the till who looks at the item and says I need a manager because part of the tag is gone. OK, get Mr. Manager, I wait, and when he comes down, he decides it would be a brilliant idea to "systematically" enter all the numbers of the tag into the pricing gun one by freaking one! In the interim, one of his actually smarter front end girls, gets a very similar item from the shelf, which was significantly marked down. I say nothing. I wait, and wait, and wait some more. This goes on for about 15 minuets. Mr. Manager trying to decipher this mathematical algorithm, eventually takes the tag off the item and claims that the tag is old. REALLY?! IF THAT WAS THE CASE WHAT THE FRICK WERE YOU DOING FOR THE PAST 15 MINUTES!? Old tag you say? Well "Mr. Manager", how the hell is that relevant to me? How would I know what a new or old tag looks like and that my return entails me KNOWING that old tags don't come up on your magic gun, even though you had NO problem entering every single number on the tag into it prior! Maybe if I was a frequent shopper/reternee I would know this pertinent information and could have prepared myself for this level of customer service, from the manager, mind you! In the end (I'd say about 30mins) he finally comes to the revelation that I should get the value of the discounted similar item, only after taking all my personal information via my drivers license (did you want to buy me dinner first?) I'm sorry, is that really necessary, especially after the item was only worth about $20? I could understand over $50.00 but $20.00? And what if I didn't have a drivers license? Then what? I would have waited half an hour for nothing! Just some food for thought...In the past Winners/Homesense had tarnished their reputation when their customers personal and credit card information was compromised due to privacy flaws in their "system." I was really chocked knowing that and left that store without the intention of ever setting foot in there again. Booooo. So disappointed with customer service, in general. Things need to change.

You people think you can get away with selling a used item? Nope! Didn't even say it was used.read more
