Just staying here for a couple of nights. This is a very nice RV park. Well manicured grass, large mature trees provide shade & an excellent staff. We've been here before & as we were driving north, we were really looking forward to this stay.

    This place is heaven!

We couldn't be happier with our experience at Deerwood RV Park. Truly, it was perfect in all ways possible. We stumbled upon Deerwood RV Park when trying to find a place to park our rig for ~1 month for work. Needed somewhere central and easy to access. We happened to find them recommended right here on Yelp. As skeptics, we even visited to scope out the park a few weeks in advance, so glad that we did. The park itself is stunning and PRESTINE. You won't find junk stacking up under / around rigs... the grounds are well manicured every Thursday morning (heads-up, they start working between 8a-9a for you late risers). They mow, clear leaves, clear off the parking spots, pick up any wind blown debris... they keep it perfect. Keep in mind that we never once used them... the facilities on the grounds are lovely and perfectly clean. They have full laundry available, with bath / shower house. Those are always well kept and clean. The Front Office has a lovely staff that is ON TOP of everything. Our waterline blew out of the side of our RV... within minutes they called, advised they had cut our water so we didn't have a mess. Running a business remotely is a lot... including mailing / shipping. They were very kind to allow us a few packages to be shipped in to keep us stocked in the basics like ink and printer paper. Much appreciated! I have not one single negative thing to say about Deerwood RV Park. We had an incredible stay with them and hope to find a reason to return some day soon! To the naysayer reviews, I have to raise an eyebrow. These do not seem accurate or fair. Beyond the fact you can hear distant highway noise... the negatives do not seem to be accurate depictions of the experiences provided by Deerwood. A huge shout-out to Jayson, Brittany, Eric, and everyone else on the Deerwood team that yielded a stellar experience. Keep it up, we appreciate you and your lovely Park!

    Our trailer site

This RV park is amazing. The sites are well positioned, the beautiful lawns are spacious and the owners and managers are the most helpful, wonderful, warm people. Their goal is for everyone that stays here to be happy. They are constantly out and about improving the park, cleaning and sanitizing. Very nice bathroom and showers and laundry. The 75 sites range from the normal size sites to X-large to handle the big RV's. We have a 38' pull trailer with a crew cab pickup and there were several sites that were well sufficient for us to fit into. There is plenty of room on each side for privacy. If you are looking for a well run beautiful RV park, this one is for you!

By far, one of the nicest RV parks! Beautiful shade trees, spread apart spaces, excellent bathroom and shower facilities! The price is reasonable. The location is about 10 minutes from downtown Eugene. Still dark enough to see the stars at night!

    Premium site with small yard.

Spent 2 weeks here. Lovely! The owners were always working. Beautiful landscaping. We splurged and got a premium site. A little more room on the outer edge with green space behind us. Great laundry. In the country but very close to Eugene/ Springfield. Lots of trees.

This is a hidden gem. Nice little park with great sites. There is highway noise, but it didn't bother us.

Our 2nd stop in Oregon was at a clothing optional resort called The Willamettans ("The Willies" for…read moreshort). Even though it's clothing optional, most people were nude. It's the largest resort we've visited and reminded us the most of our home resort in Florida (Lake Como). There are many amenities including tennis, pickleball, shuffleboard and volleyball courts, the latter of which sadly aren't used. We've found it interesting that grass & sand volleyball aren't a popular activity out west like it is at mid-west and Eastern nudist resorts. Most hadn't even heard of "Super Bowl" (the large volleyball tournament in PA at White Thorn Lodge Nudist Resort each Labor Day...or the southern version at Lake Como in March). Actually, many hadn't even heard of Lake Como...it's been a wonderful journey telling people about the resorts in Florida and learning about all the well-known resorts out this way. The Willies boasts a large, pristine pool area with beautiful sunning decks. I love sunning and looking out at the fir trees and mountains...a common loveliness of these Pacific NW resorts! There is a nice little playground right outside the pool fence. The hot tub is enclosed and adjacent to the pool. Their large rec hall (which they call their Lodge) connects them all & offers enclosed showers & bathroom, though the outdoor pool showers were artistic & welcoming. The Lodge had the best stock of games & puzzles, a foosball & ping pong table, a coffee station, and a great array of comfy couches. This is one of a few central common areas in the resort. Another area just a little walk from the pool area houses their "Full Moon Saloon" bar & dance hall, an incredibly stocked craft room, a small merchandise store (The Bun), and a large, comfortable shower house. Plus, their cafe & snack shack are right across from the bar, offering a pretty nice fare on the weekends (there aren't snacks for sale or a community kitchen area during the week here, but there is a microwave and fridge for common use at the Lodge...and the rooms have small ones, too.) Other common areas include the dog park, trails, & sports area (as mentioned above). Near the office is their AANR-NW Library which is a treasure trove of photos, artifacts, and books about the resorts in this area. The Willies recently hosted the AANR-NW annual conference and built a really cool "Bridge to the Future" commemorating each resort or club in this region on a plaque (picture included). We had the pleasure of getting a tour from a couple of board members. They don't normally allow photos at this resort but they gave us permission & accompanied us, sharing so much about it. I was touched & impressed with their active involvement in not only their own resort, but also the greater community. They donate pounds of food every year and sponsor a local HS scholarship. The whole place is a volunteer-based co-op...everyone is asked to pitch in with the work and maintenance needed to keep the resort a premier place to live & visit. There were chore bulletin board that everyone uses to know what needs done. They were especially proud of a new project in the resort to be better stewards of the environment through a comprehensive recycling program. It is very obvious of the care and love they and the residents & members take here. You could feel it! Their landscaping was so pretty, flower beds are scattered across the grounds, and volunteers were seen working on repairs and maintenance. They have removed many old "bunkies" (cabins or RV rentals) and upgraded them. One particular one looked like a top-notch hotel room with modern decor and fresh paint & flooring. We love "rustic" but it's nice to see "well-kept rustic"! The RV spaces were the best we've seen...many have a nice patch of grass and they're all well laid out. Same with the tent spaces...each is nestled in a little wooded area of its own. We loved the social vibe of The Willies. They host an event once a month. There are lots of pictures of past events and it is apparent the fun had here. They do themed events where costumes are encouraged. Recent Alice in Wonderland and Roaring 20's party pictures were on display. We enjoyed the Wednesday night karaoke. We were on to our next resort before this weekend's Neon Glow 70's themed dance. Their biggest event is their annual Rennaissance Fair in September. We are sad we won't be in the area to participate in that. This is a place we will definitely revisit! I can see many summers spent here. The weather is perfection (not too dry, not too humid), the people were friendly, and the grounds & amenities were amazing.

It's usually very calm outside of events though, and bathrooms are always open even in the winter which is really nice. There's plenty of parking too, along with some really good walking trails that can get you very close to the river or in the trees. There's also a pedestrian bridge that spans over the river in the park. They've got benches along the paths too. The field is sometimes used for school aged childrens' sports and exercise, the field is pretty big, multiple groups could use it. There's also a sort of covered picnic shelter with tables, although when I last checked the drinking fountains weren't working (maybe the cold). This place has been a huge refuge for me, definitely recommend

It is huuuuge and has so many walking/biking paths, ponds, artwork, gardens, and many places to explore. You can definitely get lost and feel away from the city here. I loved that it runs along the river and has nooks to explore. The path goes across the bridge and has amazing views at the top. There's a fun little pathway to the island and it was cool to be able to go onto the island and be that much closer to the ducks and geese. Everywhere you go has something interesting. It was also extremely clean. The park is large enough to disperse the crowd, allowing privacy. We were able to let our dog offleash to run around for a bit. Just keep in mind there are a lot of people and dogs walking around, though. Around under the bridge, we did see some sketchy folks. Be careful not to lean on the railings because there were tons of webs AND the owner of those webs! I'm talking about a spider in between almost every railing. Parking was easy. We mapped it to ABP and it took us to a free parking lot with a lot of empty spaces. Overall, the park was a great escape from the city. Sunsets are so beautiful with the reflections and serene sound of the water.

Wendy was in the office to greet us, helped us arrange a long term stay, gave us a map and even had her dad show us the site. We had to chose between a pull-thru for one month and moving to another if we wanted to stay longer or a back-in site for whatever time we wanted to stay. We were told the next day we would pay for electricity on the back-in site because it was 50 Amp power. It would have been good to know this before we chose and went through getting set up. Meadowlark is right off the freeway making it easy on and off yet, we didn't have too much freeway noise at our site. The park backs up to a trailer park that is a bit run down. You can see over the fence into that area making the view not great. We would definitely try to move if we stayed here. Though, there is hardly any traffic at this end so it has been nice. And the neighbors were very quiet The good part it is close to a some stores, coffee hut and restaurants. There is also a small but really clean laundry. There were cleaners in the laundry room with a sign to wipe down the machines when you're done. It is nice and seems to work since the machines were really clean. Also, someone came in to clean while I was doing laundry. Overall, I would stay here again. They do have wifi that works well which is great! The amenities is a C-store where they sell beer and wine and a laundry. But it's a good place to stay while working or exploring the area!
