This was a wonderful RV park right off the freeway. Very helpful and courteous staff and lovely grounds. We were just there overnight in the middle of a downpour so everything was soaked but our spot worked great. Only suggestion would be to have the water outlet a little closer to the pads for easier access. we were near the entrance but didn't hear the noise of the freeway. We will definitely stay here again. read more

We stayed one night here with our two young granddaughters. We were so pleased to find a beautiful park like setting tucked in close to the hwy for easy on and off access. The trees must muffle the road noise as we were not bothered at all. All sites have flat concrete or asphalt pads all lined by beautifully maintained lawns and trees. Reservation and check in was easy with friendly staff. A lovely walk through the park meeting other friendly campers. We are returning in a week for a 5 day stay and are so excited to spend more time there. Can't wait to come back! read more

This is a very nice, well kept RV park, conveniently located in Eugene. We had a lovely spot next to trees. A cute sitting area is provided at each spot. We use the facilities in our RV, so I can't speak to the restrooms or laundry. Slight highway noise, but it didn't bother us. Jason in the office is SUPER FRIENDLY and helpful! We stayed 4 nights at Deerwood and I have to say it is one of the most beautiful rv parks I've seen. The landscape is gorgeous and yet stays very natural looking. The spaces are not crowded together and the showers and laundry are sparkling clean. The hosts are very kind and accommodating when we wanted to switch spots. There are a few spots in the back that are close to the highway and the road noise can be quite loud. I would avoid space 69 if noise bothers you but the location of #69 affords you a lot of privacy. We stayed overnight at Deerwood Park with our little A-Liner trailer, and it was an excellent stay. The park is clean, quiet residents, and very easy access to the highway. The staff was welcoming, very kind, and helpful. The center lawn and plantings are lovely. There aren't any picnic tables, but at each site there is a café table and two chairs, and we had more than adequate space for our needs. I could see that only two restrooms and showers might pose a problem on busy days, but we showered in the evening and had no trouble. It appears to us to be a park for larger vehicles that stay for longer lengths of time, even with monthly residents. And yet the staff accommodated us as an overnight traveler very well. read more

My family and I used this RV park for a single night stay while traveling from SoCal to WA. It is very clean and spacious, with a one way road that travels the perimeter of the park. I appreciate the one way road after staying at parks where one person inevitably ends up backing up to get out of the way of another rig. WiFi and tv were included in the cost, as was breakfast! Easy access to I5 does include some traffic noise, but was still better than driving miles off the beaten path. One negative that didn't affect my group was the bathrooms are located at the park entrance and there are no safety access codes to use them. I can see why someone who had to use them would not feel safe at night. If you have restroom accommodations in your RV this shouldn't affect you. Pet owners: There is ample room to walk your dogs so they can get some exercise and do their business, just please clean up after your own pets :) Overall opinion: I would stay here again. read more

The description talks about being a quiet environment away from the noise of the freeway... WRONG!!! They are next two freeways and it is very noisy. Also, I have a large rig. I arrived late, prepaid for a specific site. There was a squatter in my site. So at nearly midnight I had to try and park my 5th wheel and large 1 ton truck in a little tiny site without disturbing anyone... right. Nice kid at the front desk but clueless. I would not recommend this if you are looking for quiet relaxation. read more

Very accommodating park. We came by to see if there was any chance to stay with them late in the day. Their sign said No Vacancies. After speaking with the office staff they offered a space they though might be tight for our 36' travel trailer. I was able to fit in and we liked the shady site. We stayed for 2 days. Won't stay here again. Noisiest RV Park we've ever stayed in. So close to the highway you can almost touch it. Trucks and semis laying on their jake brakes went through ALL night long. We were put on the end closest to the highway. It felt as though we were sleeping under a freeway overpass. Tried to move to another spot but the ones left were so small it was impossible to fit into them around trees and cars parked in the way. One was so small it looked like the RV next to it was already in the spot. Very poorly laid out park. Manager never came out of the office or offered to help when we inquired. The website was incredibly misleading for what you actually get. Park is tiny with limited to no services or amenities. read more

Made a last minute reservation with quite possibly the nicest camp host we have met. He was very accommodating and ensured we had a great spot for our late arrival and got us checked in quickly after a very long drive. The park is gorgeous with lots of green space and plenty of room between sites. Definitely a park we will stay in again on our trips down south. read more

This is a very pretty place, but it's a nightmare to navigate your rig around. Especially if it's night. Very very poor lighting and narrow roads with hairpin turns. Also, warning, upon entering past the office. There are no clear signs indicating that you cannot go down a one-way road if your site are #'s 15-43. So if you happen to go down that one-way road and you are trying to right yourself, you may end up in the loop with sites # 4 to 14 as indicated on the map. But there is a non-indicated site 15!!! Which means that you cannot loop around that area forcing you to have to back out of a very narrow road which is nearly impossible. As of today, the management do not indicate on the map that that loop is a dead end but promise to update the maps. Just be careful. They also called to apologize and will not charge us for that stay. Said the ONE WAY sign they had got destroyed by a fallen tree. We will still come back again. It's a very nice place. Just be aware of these issues. read more

I would like to list the pros and cons. We stayed here for two nights. Pros: ~Beautiful landscaping, lots of trees for shade ~The site we stayed in was quite large ~The ground was very easy to level ~Lots of grass for my dogs to play and do their business ~Nice iron table with 2 chairs at every site ~Eric was very friendly at the office Cons: ~It is right at the intersection of I-5 and Hwy 58. It has more road noise than any other place we have ever stayed. That's all you hear, all day and night. I cannot stress this enough. Because of that one reason we will not stay here again. ~The neighbors smoked cigarettes all day and night, making us non-smokers suffer, and have to stay inside with doors closed on nice evenings. ~Trash is quite a ways from the back side of the park ~No services at the office, i.e. Printer, market, and they close quite early. ~It looks as though quite a few people 'live' here. ~No doggie bags (as State parks provide) ~And oh yes, there's a woodpecker who wakes you early and let's you know he is here all day to stay. For the price, $44 per night, for us, it was not a good value. read more

Truly a beautiful RV park! I really like that they have placed value on open space. The RV spaces are not packed in tight and they also have left a large grass area in the center. There's plenty of trees and flowers also. They have 2 shower rooms and 2 laundry rooms. The WIFI is good most of the time, but during peak usage times you may experience some slowing. The staff at the front office have always been polite and helpful! I feel so lucky to have found this place! read more

We stayed only one night to just get away from a messy house we are getting ready to sell. This place was anything g but relaxing. As stated by others, the noise level was so loud and obnoxious, we almost left on arrival. We also had issues with our water hook up being hard to reach. No dog area either. On the positive side, it is pretty and well manicured. read more

OMG, I'm not sure what the lower star people are talking about. We pulled in here for a weeks stay and just loved it. We have a 40 foot fifth wheel and a dually pick-up, we had a back in site and did just fine. The grounds are spotless, lush grass everywhere and landscaped. The internet worked great! Their are two separate laundry rooms side by side and bathrooms next to them, one for women and one for men. They were spotless as well. Paved roads and sites, each with table and chairs. It is a small park with lots of charm. The highway noise did not bother us at all. It is in a very convenient location! The young man in office was helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay here again. It only needs an exercise room and it would be perfect! read more

The web site claim that the park is "away from freeway noise" was correct, but I-5 is not the problem. It's several hundred yards west of the park perimeter, but Oregon Hwy 58 is extremely noisy. From early morning until nearly midnight we heard traffic noise less than 100 yards from our site. Rates are rather high for amenities offered. Would have expected a swimming pool and a jacuzzi. And the distance to the restrooms/showers was FAR. Didn't use those facilities due to distance. Although the garbage collection point was less than 100 feet from our site it is a far walk (most campers drove to deposit trash) for those on the east and south parts of the park. Most sites are spacious and offer a nice separation between spaces, but the inner part of the east side of the park could almost be a parking lot. Not a place for peace and quiet and relaxation, and definitely not a place for small children since there's nothing for them to do. read more

To be fair, Deerwood Park is very conveniently located to both I-5 and Hwy 58, is a very scenic park, with lush green lawns, loads of pretty trees, very well maintained. The management are nice folks. Here's where things start to slide... The sites are primarily back in, and if you are along the creek, it's likely the back of your rig will hang off if you want to fit your vehicle in to the spot. The driveway is a one-way direction and is very long, so you may be driving a long way round if you need to drive up to the garbage or shower & laundry areas. The bathrooms and showers are locked at 9 pm each evening, as well as the laundry room, which means you must get your loads in by 7 pm. There are 4 washers and dryers for 75 spots. The park does not sell rolls of quarters, so be sure to have your own. There is no path or walkway to the garbage/recycling dumpsters, leaving you to tramp across soggy/boggy lawn if you don't walk the quarter mile round the pavement. The bathroom/laundry area is not conveniently located, at all - up near the office, and should a traveler be checking in and parked, there is no way to park for these facilities. If you stay on a monthy rate ($399 and up in the winter, $535 and up in the summer), there are "hidden" costs. You are charged $30 a month if you have an additional car WiFi is $1 a day Electric is automatically charged $1.75 per day, not based on usage only. You must pull forward and then back into your site to park your car, as the one way layout doesn't allow for head in parking. If someone is coming up behind you, you must stress to get backed in before they reach your site...and the sites are quite tight together. The fellow who provides every other week propane charges $4 per gallon. There are no additional ammenities, such as pool, hot tub or anything like that, and the "cable" consists of 25 channels which are not high def. We found we got better reception and more stations using our flat antenna for regular tv. Folks with DISH or Direct TV, this of course, will be of no concern. So, over all, it's a pretty place & we weren't disturbed by the noise of Hwy 58, although I can see where it would be disturbing for light sleepers, I doubt we would stay here again. read more

We stayed for one night in January while passing through. This place is great! Extremely clean and well kept. The sites are all level and spacious. Most spaces are out in the open, but didn't seem to matter much. The bathrooms were close to our site. They were clean with nice showers too. Easy access from the freeway. We didn't hear the freeway noise as mentioned by some other yelpers. The best part about this place is the staff. I've never stayed at an RV park with more respectful caring staff. 5 stars from me! We stayed here on our way home from the Oregon coast. Just looking for a place to stay overnight. The park is extremely clean, and there are nice, big shade trees everywhere. The bathrooms are clean and modern. Some of the sites might be a bit tight to back into if you have a larger RV but we had no problem with our 24 foot travel trailer. There are also sites that would better fit larger rigs. They offered a free breakfast on Saturday morning! The staff was friendly and offered advice on where we could get gas on our way out. We would definitely stay here again! read more

Advertised as an "RV Resort", which to us was a bit of an exaggeration. That being said, you could not find a park with a better, more friendly group of people running it! This is a family-owned business and for that reason I hate to give it anything other than 5 stars but I must. The restrooms are mostly clean but need updating badly with sturdier materials: linoleum at the shower edge was pulling up and grubby and the shower stalls are old and gross. The grounds themselves look a tad worn and there are too many "long-term campers". While there we had a suitcase with all of my hubby's clothes stolen right out from under the front of our trailer and it was not until the next day we discovered our tote bin full of groceries missing as well. We were definitely NOT happy campers. Beautiful landscaping and mature trees and shrubs make it very pretty, also a lovely fish pond. Highway noise was loud but didn't keep us awake. The owners are wonderful, but the park needs some elbow grease to get it back to a "resort". read more
