It was a great place to have a birthday party and the staff was super friendly and more than accomodating. We would definitely recommend this place for parties and for riding lessons. I was looking for an instructor who is also sensitive to training me, a person who has never ever handled a horse or any equipment that has to do with horses. I've had many instructors in the past for other things I've tried, who are angry and use condescension in their instruction and this memory has held me back for a while in trying anything new. I took a leap of faith with Katelin and I am so happy I did. I know nothing about riding, and my decision was based simply on the fact that Nancy from Bennett Farms understood a lot of my concerns about my young daughter riding (short lessons, Samler pony, what she would be learning, etc). The people here are ridiculously friendly, and they've been so kind and welcoming to my daughter, it's amazing. Eloise, her teacher, is fantastic - patient, calm, and confident - and my daughter has been improving steadily since she started here. The other people we've met at Bennett, from the people taking care of the horses to the other owners, have been really great. It feels like a community when we're here and I highly recommend them if you're looking for lessons for yourself or your kid.

Brittany is very kind and knowledgeable, not to mention very patient in easing an adult back into proper form. I would recommend this barn to others seeking to learn how to ride or continue to ride. The owner has a client (Sara) that has 5 horses there, she hasn't paid her rent and so Tom stopped feeding them... they got so skinny that the boarder began to buy and feed them out of their own pocket...... Tom cheats all the horses on hay. Very disgusting excuse for a human. The only arena is synthetic and not maintained properly because of ignorance therefore causing injuries to horses if you do more than a easy jog. They spray weed poison while it is close to a horse. LEAKING SEPTIC tank under the arena causes stinky bacteria ridden water to sit atop the arena surface. Very hazardous to your horse.... Owner keeps driving over it with a huge tractor. Look elsewhere, your horse will not be safe here.

There is true pride of ownership and caring here... Tom tries to accomodate everyone needs, whether or not he thinks it's a little crazy, and my horse loves his stall and his stable mates. I booked a Saturday…read morelesson with a trainer and Shelly the owner was who i spoke with she was very nice and we spoke fluently....until i had to cancel 5 DAYS BEFORE my lesson. There is a 24 hour cancellation policy but no one and no where does it say that there is no refund. I zelled her $85 for a lesson and when I cancelled she decided she was going to keep the money and then decided that she would venmo it because she doesnt want to "add me to her zelle" THIS IS EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL PLEASE DO NOT BOOK HERE AND DO NOT GIVE THEM BUSINESS SHE IS A SCAM SHE WILL SCAM YOU AND TAKE YOUR MONEY.
