An expository preacher that is faithful to God's Word. The music portion of the service is faithfully crafted by the worship pastor. He mixes up the music and type of music sang and played, to keep it fresh. As well, he'll mix in a catechism every now and again. Very friendly church. Very pretty church. Very good church. Solid theological teaching. It's honestly a 5 star church. If it weren't so far away from where I live, we would be members.

The facility is spacious and beautiful; just several years old but more important is the atmosphere. Everyone is welcoming and friendly. They are involved with many ministries throughout Oldham County and Kentucky as well as internationally. I plan to attend here regular and look forward to hearing the wonderful worship and preaching repeatedly.

Saturday morning's the church holds a Bible study for men called Man Challenge. It is a way for men to have a cup of coffee and study the word together. Today's message was particularly impactful as it talked about everyone being filled and led by the Holy Spirit and being in His word so that we have a reply to every life situation. Jesus is our Lord and Savior and it is our goal to walk with him in our daily walk. We are all broken people, but it is our faith in Jesus that helps get us through each day. As men we are called to lead our families and be in fellowship with other men so that "iron sharpens iron." The church takes part in many great service projects that help demonstrate Christ. I encourage anyone who wants to learn more about Jesus to come to Man Challenge and partake in fellowship as our campus pastor Greg and associate pastor Mark teach us the word. Or if anyone is interested in worshipping with the campus, please attend one of our services Saturday evening at 5:15, or Sunday morning at 9:00, 10:15, and 12:00.

( I think of the late Fred Rogers) As a new Christian, attending this church has been one of the most disappointing and horrific church experiences The church's theology for example in need of objective scrutiny. They discourage intellectual pursuits, and believe that love of music, and wisdom leads to pride. Sunday services are tolerable but often it ended up leaving me drained and joyless. Joyous worship is discouraged! Don't go to their healing sessions! They obsess over darkness and talk about casting out demons compromising the message of love, hope and redemption that can b found through our Lord Jesus Christ. To paraphrase C.S Lewis " One cant' deny the existence of the devil but one need not be obsessed with it". Also, when I first started attending the church the pastor asks me to read the book " The beginners guide to Spiritual Warfare". what did I enroll in a defense against the dark arts class and the pastor Snape? Did they get their theology from Harry Potter and the Exorcist combined? They created their whole theology based on distortion of few scriptures and to promote their own agendas, clearly. I converted from a different religion overwhelmed by and loving the person of Jesus , not to embrace some theology of some ego-maniacal leaders who are living in some fantasy world. They seem to think that gifts of tongues and prophecy are cooler then the boring gift of faith and hospitality. I mean they actually said that ADHD is caused by some winged demons hovering over your head and scrambling your brain and laughing as they mess with your brain. A for imagination but used in a very destructive way! This is so hard to believe but promise, ( true!) You are shamed if you don't speak in tongues . I almost faked it one day. They after all were so cool and I want to be cool too. ( Kidding). I am being funny but I am injecting some humor to lighten the ordeal. They church seems to suffer from persecution complex, and the leaders suffering from a narcissistic disorder. This church would be an excellent case study for some psychology student. Or a psychololgistveho is studying toxic groups. If you have a problem with leadership in the church and you speak to someone about it in private it is considered slandering the pastor. (never mind what they will do, I will not share the details of what happened publicly bit very deceptive). They will project their own psychological baggage on to you and scapegoat you as the bad person, not addressing their own issues. Bad group-think mentality is encouraged while questioning and independent thinking is discouraged. In healthy groups and churches questioning should is welcome and study of the Bible is also encouraged. They would say that the Bible is an Idol. Hmmm ... So wonder why? Again, the only think redeeming about this church is that there are some truly generous and good hearted people that attend there. Sadly some of them are misguided! Be prepared to be undermined and judged ( by the leadership) if you are of lower socio- economic status. They also think they ate being cursed by the Oldham county Satanic society because they ate the chosen ones. The youth ministry could use some serious work! I was totally appalled when the youth minister said " sex sells" to entice the young people to take an interest in the Bible. She resorted to cheap sensationalism and talked about the parts of the Bible that are gory, and have sexual themes. Clearly, she was not about leading the children to Christ but to promote her self so she would be the embodiment of awesomeness and popular with the children. children. All of leadership wanted to be more popular then Jesus!Perhaps her future is in yellow journalism, like writing for the National Enquirer. I would recommend this church for some tiny sense of community that can be found there. The food is great and the coffee is excellent! And I love good food!I wonder how many people they wounded and how many people that turned away from Jesus because of them. Luckily for me it only made me cling on tighter to Jesus but others may not have been so lucky. I think Jesus has a special place in his heart for those who have been wounded by the churches. My prayer and hope for this church, for the leadership would wake up, and start seeing the error of their ways! I pray that the Lord would touch their heart and correct them so they can be used greatly to convey the true message of the gospel, instead of spreading fear they should be spreading Christian love. Could anyone imagine Fred Rogers doing this? The world is in dire need of healthy churches who teach grace and love.! This review was not done out of malice but to steer people away from this toxic church and make people aware.

During the lenten season we like to go to the fish frys that many of the Catholic Churches offer…read more Since this is our parish we had to go to this one first. When we arrived the line was almost out the door. So we stood in line for about 45 minutes. It was well worth it as the fish dinner was awesome. The fish, two large thick portions were cooked to perfection. The slaw was sweet and delicious and the onion rings were crispy, crunchy and flavorful. The fresh shrimp were an added bonus that the teenagers were serving to the people in line. I urge you to try it. You won't be disappointed.

We attended their turkey dinner fundraiser. It was awesome especially during Covid! They had many…read morevolunteers and everything was well marked. We decided to drive through and get our meals to go. They were delicious! There was a hearty serving of turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and green beans. A roll was served wrapped with butter. A small cup of cranberry sauce was included. We also had our choice of desserts. I had a yummy piece of pumpkin pie. They even accommodated our vegetarian. The best part of the event was that veterans were free! We will definitely return next year!
