My friends all said their IUD hurt getting it put in and taken out that's why they're traumatized to get an iud after they had their baby but doctor cheston is so good i didn't really feel much, she's also coincidentally the same doctor that delivered my baby prior to putting in my iud. All the doctors here are great but doctor cheston is def one of my favorites. love her so so much!

Lately, I've been having major issues trying to get ahold of anyone at the office. I recently had a reoccurring issue that was not resolved by medication. I called to schedule an appointment but has to leave a vm. They called me back and asked if I could come in the next day at 4:10. I also work for a health care practice so I said I would check my schedule and call back in 5 min. I called back and the call went to a call service. I spoke with them and they said they would contact the office and let them know that I would take the appointment. The next day I was getting ready to head out to my appointment and realized I had not gotten a call back from the office to confirm my appointment (which is also my bad! I was so busy at work). I called nine times and left a voicemail. Finally someone answered and told me that no one ever scheduled the appointment. I get it. It gets busy or a miscommunication can happen. I wasn't super upset by that issue but it made me think about the future. I can't imagine being pregnant and needing to speak to someone at the office and not have anyone answer the phone/get back to me. I love the doctors here but I feel like I need to find a more hands on office for my future needs.

PLEASE LOOK FOR A DIFFERENT PRACTICE ITS NOT WORTH IT! I was sent to collection for 154 dollar bill…read morebecause they do not submit paper work properly. This has happened on multiple occasions. Also, trying to get an IUD is nearly impossible. You are expected to jump through hoops. They have you do "homework" where you have to call and verify your insurance benefits, get the name of the person your talking to, a reference number fax all this information over to a middle person then you have to reach out to the specialty pharmacy to confirm it gets sent to them. I have never had to do any of this at previous OB/GYN offices. There was always a billing department that took care of all this. I have also been billed improperly on multiple occasions even after my insurance called to tell them they were using the wrong codes . Not only did I have to do this "homework" for an IUD they have you do the same during pregnancy. It's just absurd. The woman Sharlette who handles all this is also extremely rude and unpleasant to work with. Save yourself the hassle and find an office that's willing to help and work with you!

I patiently waited 45 min without complaining and once it was my turn I was given what I would deem a normal amount of time, albeit rushed, approximately 5 -10 min. DURING THE EXAM she asked if anything had changed since last year. I mentioned the usual menopause symptoms and stated that all were being managed well except hair loss. She offered a few suggestions (all of which I have already tried) and the visit concluded. I TOO was billed extra for this appointment due to the coding and was told that "mentioning hair loss was beyond the scope of the visit"! What?? It's a yearly exam and the dr asked ME a question that I answered!!! INSANE!!!!!! In the 40+ years I have had annuals this has never happened! How does one know what they can and cannot say before they are additionally billed? Outrageous!! I spoke to billing who could not assist, I spoke to the office who could not assist and finally spoke to a very rude office manager who also could not assist, as this was "only something the dr can change." So, I asked for the dr to call me herself. The office manager VERY RUDELY stated she would tell the dr. The dr never called but I was sent a letter from the office telling me they would not treat me anymore. Wow, a truly poor overall approach to customer care and healthcare!
