And then after I complain to the doctor I get chastised for asking why things didn't happen sooner than the cheapest in the world as we were busy... I was told by staff while scheduling this procedure that I could have one person with in while there, as well there will be some cramping so take some Ibuprofen an hour before. Well i was lied too. When I go there I asked about having something back with me and they said I was not allowed. Even as I was sitting there waiting for the doctor to arrive on the verge of tears in a gown that was two sizes two small. The nurses with the doctor didn't do much and didn't seem to care that i was sobbing and almost screaming out in pain. They just stood there over me, making it worse. The doctor was a male, and made me feel even more uncomfortable. He didn't seem to be the most certain on what to do or how far, because he went to far and inflated the balloon way to much, felt like my uterus and cervix would explode from my body. My wife was just on the other side of the door and they never got her. I was very uncomfortable before during and after. I understand that everyones pain level is different. However, there should have been more information to me that it differs depending on person. "take some Ibuprofen you will be okay. There will be some cramping" is what I was told by multiple people. That was the worst Pain I had ever been in in my entire life. Tell me women are not well taken care of in the medical field with out telling me... I could not move from the couch/bed for two days. I was in severe pain for over week, crying from the pain. if this was a procedure for a man, they would be given pain meds and most likely sedated. It is ridiculous. I called the women in scheduling I had spoken to before and she was not sympathetic nor did she care that i was still in pain and could not have anyone with me during the procedure, I was almost crying of how disrespectful she was and how she just brushed me off.

I wrote another review and I saw that someone actually replied so I hit the link and asked for a person to contact me and the only thing that I got was an email demanding that I pay a bill.being that I walked out be happy that my insurance paid what it did. If someone wants to contact me please feel free to call me otherwise take me to court so I can show you the best that I can do. I was employed by your chairman of the board before his passing and I can assure you that I would of gone directly to him over the issues that I experienced and what has caused me to seek care elsewhere. Billing department sends invoices to Collections despite of clearing them months in advance…read more I am still getting calls from a Collection agency for the service in Aug-2018, for which I made the payment in Sept-2018 itself. I called the billing department, collection agency multiple times and they verify some details and make me wait in the call so that they escalate it to the concerned department for correction. Somehow, I still get the disturbing calls while I am at work saying I owe money to the physician. All my services are through my primary insurance which I clear them via authorized channels. I have cleared many bills before as well as after that particular service in question. Effectively, their billing department messed up something and all the non-sense happened. I get my child treated by an good pediatrician there but looks like I have to change because of the Billing department inefficiencies. Regards, Pavan

At 40, I was not prepared for the…read moreinformational learning curve, variety of specialist visits needed, and consequential time commitment required, to manage this aspect of my health. Unfortunately, with a history of breast cancer in my family, I have had to push for screenings earlier than others choose to start. I had my first mammogram at 39, and became a mother, recently, at 40. This is not normally the order in which you do things. I am now facing fears my own mother did not face until I was off to college. Luckily, medicine is more advanced now, and by reaching care at a younger age, I am able to be on top of things. My grandmother didn't survive breast cancer, my mother has been in remission for almost 20 years, and I, hopefully, will benefit from a new generation of medicine. I was referred here by the new ob I acquired this past summer, when I had to switch practices due to a c-section. My mammogram in Jul 2017, showed a spot they wanted to watch via a check-up in Jan 2018, but everyone whose care I was in, pushed back my follow-up, due to pregnancy and breastfeeding. Six months here, six months there, I am now a year-and-a-half out. I chose to breastfeed for the benefit of my son. No one could tell me what was happening in my body in the mean time; I have to own that choice. Now that I've stopped breastfeeding, I am told I have to wait another 6 months before an image can be accurate. Because my "dense" breasts required multiple images, and an ultrasound last time, I am told I will probably need an MRI this time. Sheesh! As I enjoy motherhood, in the back of my mind I am terrified about how long I will be around for my dear son. While I realize I've not been diagnosed with anything, most people can understand that fear, which comes with conceiving the gravity of parenthood. Likewise, many can also understand the fear of any woman needing to get this frightening test. Dr. Chang is the breast surgeon at this location, but we met with her Nurse Practitioner, Cheryl. Cheryl was apprised of my situation, and helpful informing me about, frankly, more than I could handle considering the existing learning curve I already had as a new mom. Basically, just as I had to take birthing, and "first days at home" classes for my baby, there should be at least optional educational classes offering an outline on the comprehensively complex animal that is breast health. Nonetheless, Cheryl gave me food for thought, and alerted me to the need for serious self-education, starting asap! The more you know, the better prepared you are, and while this topic is a total drag, if you've got the lady parts, you gotta take care of 'em! I had had genetic tests done at my ob's office, specifically to see if I had any of the genes known to up my cancer risk. While I am lucky not to have the BRCA gene, I do have the ATM gene mutation. I have a slightly elevated risk of breast cancer, and pancreatic cancer. This is where we get into the very adult duty of having to manage one's own health, with autodidacticism on many levels. Educate yourself about what to eat and not to eat, what meds/supplements to take or avoid, where to get care, how to pay for it, what questions to ask, etc. Genetic counselors are now a thing, as I have had to find out through my fertility genetic testing, as well as this part of my health. More specialists! I am sharing all this, deliberately before I get test results, because it's the unknown that is most scary to me. I am told by my fertility clinic that I need to hurry up and have a second baby (like NOW), if I want one, because my endometriosis + age, will make it very difficult to have a healthy child if I wait. They also say the pill helps abate the endo from growing. So I ask my gyn for the pill but am told with increased cancer risk, they won't give me the pill because estrogen feeds cancer. But, when I ask to get my MRI stat so I can figure out what to do about a second baby, they say I too recently stopped breastfeeding and my tissue needs time to change back to normal, so I have to wait 6 mos after stopping for the test! Hurry up and wait! So here I sit, wondering if there is a problem that has gone without observation for over a year. Not able to take the pill to beat back my endo. Worried I will not be able to have a second child. Cheryl came up with a plan with me, that allows me to get an exam, and regular mammogram sooner, just to be able to get some info, even if not completely great due to tissue still changing. She hooked me up with the right genetic counselor, and told me when to go back to go over everything and how to eke the MRI in a little early, so I can know what's up and act! This is tough and private stuff to share, but I am hoping that since this place (thus far) has no reviews, I can be the voice of someone sharing for others, in case any of my experience can help!

She started out very deadpan with zero (I mean ZERO personality) which is fine. But then she became surly and then downright rude. Apparently, I was not providing my information fast enough or to the direct letter of how she can enter it. I explained the doctor's office faxed the Rx 3 times so they should have it already on file. Her tone was very aggressive and disagreeable. I told her she was being very rude and with that she hung up on me. Wow, someone is in the wrong job. I called back and requested a supervisor and was transferred to the sups voice mail. I explained the situation and that she does not have to call me back herself but I need someone to call me as I still need the service scheduled. Now over 24 hrs later and of course no one has called back. Terrible service.

The nurses and doctor were very nice and they all tried to make me laugh. I was in and out in about 45 mins, which left me with plenty of time to go back to work. I always choose to go here instead of Kent General. I am always seen very quickly.

I picked the wrong day to be sick. The doctors, nurses, technicians, and triage staff were professional and highly pleasant throughout my visit. They were truly apologetic and continued to keep you informed of delays as they arose. The neighboring hospital in Kent County at the Dover site and the Milford site were equally showing delays. This is the place to be when you need efficient care. It is worh the wait.
