It was never explained to them that they would only be given 30 minutes of set up time. Yes, 30 minutes. Furthermore, when the owner Mary was asked about the clean up time, she advised that it would have to be within the 3 hours. Come on now, what venue doesn't allow you at least a hour to set up and clean up? We were charged an additional $100 to stay until 10pm to clean up. Oh and if you plan to play music, be prepared to have the owner come out to say "I'm shutting down the mic because of a noise complaint.' And, what venue doesn't provide trash bags or at least tell you to bring them? If you plan to have food, ask to see the kitchenette. It's smaller than a closet. As a matter of fact, it's 1/3 the size of a standard closet. Yep, it was ridiculous. Finally, to add insult to injury, the owner had left and her assistant was there with us. Can someone explain to me why did this lady come out of the back office to join the party when the strippers arrived? Very unprofessional on so many levels. It's unfortunate. We try to support our own people ( Yes, it's a Black Owned Business). But, when the service is at this level of unprofessionalism and disrespect, it's best to go somewhere else. Noted. Lesson learned. Never Again Will We Use This Establishment. We were told that we had to use our time for clean up time because in the past she had folks hanging and lingering around. Sorry, Ma'am that you had that experience. However, we are not those people. We are educated and professional women with careers. Please reassess your policies because while your place is gorgeous, your service level is horrible. Thanks!

Let me tell you about my 2nd time in this Cooper's Hawk... It was so impressive that I got a membership. I wanted to check it out for lunch with a friend. We went on the Thursday before Easter and to my surprise it was pretty busy! We sat at the bar. My friend has a membership already so we were able to drink one of her bottles with our lunch. Ok, we ended up drinking two of her bottles. LOL. They chilled her bottle in a chiller table side and put a little garnish on our glass for the sparkling wine we chose. The blackened salmon was terrific! It was soooo delicious. I had the lobster, crab bisque it was ok. I enjoyed our wine and the vibe of the restaurant. We sat at the bar and our bartender's name was Megan! She was terrific. I was even able to taste one of the wines I had my eye on. I was told I can try two wines every visit. Stop it. A tasting per month, a tasting at the table? I can't wait to come back.

I recently visited Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant in Oak Lawn, IL, and overall the food and…read moredrinks were excellent. The meals were flavorful, well-prepared, and thoughtfully presented, while the wine selection was equally impressive. Everything we ordered was fresh and enjoyable. Our waitress was exceptional -- attentive, professional, and genuinely accommodating throughout the evening, despite being clearly stretched thin. She maintained a positive attitude and provided excellent service while managing responsibilities that extended far beyond serving tables. What was disappointing, however, was witnessing the waitstaff also being expected to perform bus boy duties. Requiring servers to constantly clear and reset tables while simultaneously attending to guests creates an inefficient and, frankly, tacky business model for a restaurant that presents itself as an upscale dining establishment. It places unnecessary strain on employees, diminishes the overall guest experience, and makes the lack of adequate support staff highly noticeable. The waitresses handled the situation with professionalism and grace, but management should seriously reevaluate this operational approach and invest in properly supporting their staff. While the food and drinks were very good, I will not return until this issue is addressed.

I had taken a winemaking class here, so I also could buy some of their kits if I didn't want to start from scratch with my own juice. Recent, I went to a Sunday brunch session that was really nice. The food was outstanding. And with the weather being nice, outdoor seating was an option that made the afternoon that more enjoyable. I had only been familiar with the wine, mead, and brewing supplies aspect of Wild Blossom. I like their "restaurant" setting. I may get back to enjoy some weekend events.

We enter the venue. No one greets us and it is fairly empty. We ask a woman who walks through the main space, "Are you all open?" She says "yes", but never breaks stride. Another woman walks into the main space, we ask "Do we seat ourselves?" She replies, "Yes, you can sit wherever you'd like, inside or outside", before walking off. 3. We seat ourselves and wait about 10min for the server to come to our table to water. She provides an overview of the meadery and prepares to leave. We stop her and ask to place an order for the cauliflower pizza in the photo . She replied, "Oh, we don't serve that anymore. We use regular frozen pizza dough now." Wow, just wow. Why circulate false advertisement on the website? We left without ordering anything.
