This is the first and only club I've ever been to. I honestly didn't have many expectations since I'd never been to a strip club. My first and second visits were both in the same night, partially due to my schedule, but also because I enjoyed it enough to go back for more. My first visit was extremely nice. The dancer who I spoke to was extremely nice, wasn't pushy at all. I believe her name was Anastasia, but I never got her name, and I'm making the assumption based on how the only other woman in white that night was Nova, who I had a dance with later. The dancer I was with was extremely kind, and I enjoyed her dancing, so I asked for a second nude dance. I didn't regret either. She also catered towards my preferences, asking if I was more into boobs or ass, and went with my preference for the later. After the dances, she and I had a conversation that left me laughing, and I really hope I can chat with her again, even if there isn't a dance included. She was a genuinely fun girl. My second visit that night I met Sparkle, and I took her offer for a dance. She was nice, and while I did enjoy both of her dances, she seemed to have this air of being annoyed. I understand it's a job, and she must have been tired since it was around 2 AM, but it didn't give me the best impression. Either way, I still enjoyed her dancing. I went there on Friday September 25th. It was around midnight. They were very slow. It took me almost 15 minutes to get a drink. The waitress staff kept walking past. Then most of the girls were either sitting at certain tables talking to certain people. Alot of them did nothing but be on their phones. I noticed 3 of them sat with one guy. Never got up and walked around. They only got up to dance on stage and that was it. I only had 3 girls acknowledge me and the main one that was nice was Alice. If I could, I'd give this place a negative 3. It has gone down hill since I was last there. Also you do the Blue light thing. I have never gotten my free passes from the dancers. Management suck. Today, maybe 7 dancers on shift and the one that was the nicest to me danced like the tin man from the Wizard of Oz. Indiana doesn't have smoking bans, so you can smoke and drink inside. You can score free passes to Deja Vu locations on-line. It was so slow on this big vacation weekend that they let us in free without passes and were very happy we stopped in. Poles here are about 6' tall, maybe less. Absolutely no pole talent found on this night and really, there isn't any pole for them to use. After their stage performance ladies walk around topless. How nice. To be able to drink beer and see boobs in the wild. This club has another Deja Vu club attached but to get to it, you have to leave and walk around the side. This club is 21+ and topless. The other is 18+ and nude. I guess nudity and alcohol is a no no. Prices: $15 / per song for private lap dance. $20 for an extra special dance, whatever that is. and I think its 3 for $50. When I first reviewed Deja in Lake Station I had not been to that many clubs only some in Chicago area, but after being to over 40 clubs now through the years I am bumping up this club to 4 stars. This club is what I would call the best budget deal club out there. Compared to what you get at the Chicago clubs you get the best deals around at this club. I been to clubs in 4 different states it's hard to find the deals at this club and at Polekatz NWI. On top of that Deja is connected to Dreamgirls downstairs which is fully nude. If you get tired of topless you can go downstairs for all nude dances and some of the dancers will go downstairs for a nude dance if you ask them. The VIP's at Deja Vu are the best deal around $150 for 30 minutes. To be frank even at many topless clubs in all 4 states I have been to I was not able to find such a great deal anywhere else. Although they do wear pasties in Indiana, so it is not true topless., Deja does the best job out of all the clubs by having the girls wear clear pasties which from a distance you can't tell at all the have pasties on. I can't really stand the pasties at other Indiana clubs that are clearly visible. The blue light specials in this club are amazing. Either 2 dances for 1 or a dance and free porno DVD. I am a regular at Deja Vu. I don't go downstairs to Dreamgirls very often, but I'm around enough to know the deal in there. Dreamgirls doesn't serve alcohol, so they allow 18 and up customers. The net result of this is that the club's crowd tends to be younger. It also often (but not exclusively) has younger dancers who might still be learning to the ropes. Dancers don't get full nude on stage, though they do not wear pasties. As with Deja Vu, the stage is somewhat small and the poles are short, which limits how wild the pole tricks can be. Lap dances can be full nude, but full nude dances are no contact. If you want to touch or be touched, take it upstairs. There's a lot of cross-pollination between the Vu upstairs and Dreamgirls. Downstairs dancers come upstairs to drink and upstairs girls go downstairs when somebody makes it worth their while to take off their pasties. Also like the Vu, the pace is slower and more social than other strip clubs I've visited (I've been to clubs in Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Colorado and Nevada). If you come in more than a few times over the course of a year, the staff will almost certainly recognize and remember you. If you pay a cover at the Vu, you can enter Dreamgirls free of charge and vice versa. read more

Wouldn't recommend this place if you're under 50 and looking a good strip club. It's basically an old bar that was turned into a "strip club". They don't play rap and aren't allowed to play rap or anything upbeat like that. And the dancers sit in the booths on their phones not caring about their jobs. Gave two stars because the mini tacos were good and our waitress was attentive to us. Other than that not a great atmosphere. They don't take off their clothes and dancers have to wear boy shorts and pasties. So no nudity. And they allow smoking in the club. read more
