Total thumb's up on Deja Vu Records! It's not super-organized - there are bins of records everywhere you turn. There's a bit of alphabetizing and categorizing here and there, but it's the perfect amount - the hunt is part of this place's appeal. There's plenty of good stuff, and when you find something it feels like a score! The woman who runs it, Eleni, is a total character. Super-nice lady, a little offbeat, but there's nothing "vinyl-snob" or pretentious about her or her store. Her prices are very reasonable - things are not clearly labeled, but rather you settle up when you leave. I left with 6 albums for $12, and she threw in a couple freebies because of small scratches. I will be back regularly for sure - my only regret is not finding this place sooner! read more

There's really only one word that can sum up my experience at Deja Vu Records...WOW! This place is a gem. There are literally thousands of records all over the place. I'm not sure what's better the records or the lady who owns it. She is such a peach! My boyfriend and I went here recently to check the place out and we ended up falling in love with the place. I never write reviews on Yelp - I needed to reset my password just to do this because it's been so long, but I felt like I had to after visiting Elani and her store. What an absolute gem. Boxes upon boxes of records - some of them sorted by genre, but some of them so fresh to her store, you never know what you'll find in there. Gotta be careful where you step becuase nearly every inch of her store has something in it, but your time and your efforts are rewarded.On my first visit last week, I brought my 9 year old daughter who's a big Beatles fan and she was in heaven. She came away with multiple LPs and a 45, and Elani knew EXACTLY where everything was. We left with a huge stack of LPs and a few 45s, all for $35. Incredible deal. There was a very helpful woman running the shop. She'll want to know what records you're looking for, and she will help you get them if you're willing to leave an album list and a phone number. She was funny, and kept trying to predict what kinds of records I'd be into ("Hi there, here's a nice Tom Waits record you might like.". That said, I left with ~15 decent records for $25; so no complaints. Definitely bring a "desired album list" if you have one -- she'll probably give you a discount just for bringing one. read more

This place is amazing. They have an extensive collection of vinyl records and 45s. A lot of classical music and a great selection of old classic rock albums. The woman who runs the place is extremely sweet and helpful. You can tell she's a good person because when I asked her if she takes credit cards she said "you can just mail me a check." That's the kind of customer service and trust that only comes with small privately owned places like this. She gave us an amazing deal on a bunch of records and helped us find exactly what we were looking for. I highly recommend stopping in here and spending at least an hour exploring. read more

This little shop is an absolute gem. My fiance and I stumbled in here at the recommendation of two record aficionados, who sold us our first turn table and set of speakers. At first, I was a bit stressed out by the whole experience. This little shop holds boxes and boxes of records, piled on one another. There is no reason or order, nothing alphabetized: it's pure chaos. I'm someone who craves organization and cleanliness. This is so not my scene. But Eleni! Thank goodness for Eleni, who appeared form the stacks of dusty boxes and kindly offered me solace from my turmoil. Like Virgil in Dante's inferno. And like Virgil, she has lead us to musical nirvana. Deja Vu may seem cluttered, but Eleni knows every record, very artist, every song. She was able to find exactly what I was looking for, and then brought out several other albums by artists that I had never heard of insisting that I try them. She has never led me astray once: every one of her recommendations has been pure gold. There's no way that she runs this little shop this for the money. This is a labor of love. Once I learned to embrace the experience of rummaging around through boxes, I began to really enjoy myself. My husband and I can easily spend an hour on a Sunday afternoon browsing through old records, and we always come away with something unexpected and wonderful. Our most recent haul included more than ten records of classical music, which Eleni gave us for free. When we insisted that we pay, she said, "Bring me a photo of your wedding day next time instead". Not much I can ad to what's been established with the other reviews. I love this place! Yes, it's tight quarters, especially for a guy my size, but I still managed pretty well & came out with some great album's & look forward to stopping in whenever I'm in the area. The lady running the store was very helpful & as she said a couple times..."there's no junk". Once in awhile we have gone and it's a bit messy as "new" product has arrived and needs to be sorted and such. One of the most unique and timeless record stores I've been to. While the selection is mostly dated, it does nothing to deter me from the functionality of the store. You know those old, classic Lps that you want, but can justify buying new or on discogs? This is the place to get them. The store is filled with timeless classics, and hidden gems, and prices are phenomenal + negotiable (not that there's an issue with the prices to begin with). My husband and I just returned from a trip to Deja Vu Records, where we sold about 15% of our vinyl holdings. The proprietor, Eleni, had something to say about almost every record that we brought in, displaying an uncanny knowledge of a broad spectrum of music. She was funny and interesting and extraordinarily gracious; she even insisted that we take some CDs home with us for free! She gave us WAY more money than we had ever expected to get for these albums. As we continue to digitize our collection, I expect that we will head back to Natick to see if Eleni has use for our other albums (No, I'm not giving up any of my Smiths or Kinks LPs!). Traveled to Deja Vu Records with a friend earlier this week and we found out how awesome this place is. The owner Eleni is very knowledgeable and sweet as pie. She was very helpful and provided us with extremely fair pricing due to it being our first visit. You really can't ask for more in a record shop. The shop is stocked to the brim with records, mostly bought from estate sales, according to the owner, who is extremely knowledgeable about the records in her seemingly disorganized store. She varies her prices based on how much you buy- I recently purchased 40 records for what ended up being 35 dollars, after she decided that I could have almost 10 of the records for no charge. We found a diamond in the rough when we found this store. Extremely friendly services and good prices, if you don't mind the mess. Albums are stacked up all over the place. You need to set aside a good bit of time to go through them, but also the owner will help you find what you're looking for. Very good discounts, especially the more you buy. Better trade your car in for a pick-up, because once you start shopping for records here, you wont be able to stop. A few records turns into a box turns into a crate turns into a trunkload turns into oh my god I have to move... Soon you'll be swinging by 3 or 4 times a week, and soon after that, if you are very good, Eleni will ask you to stay for pizza and listen to records. After a while, you'll get to know the repeat customers like family and you'll be bringing a bottle of wine for Christmas for Eleni and cookies for all your new record buddies...this isn't just a record store, it's a community and a legend. This place is really amazing. I found stuff here I never thought I'd see in a record store. Especially an out of the way one in Massachusetts. The store has TONS of records with little to no organization. The owner, Eleni, is very knowledgeable about her stock and prices fairly.
