Gary's crew installed the new front door and told me everythig worked fine. It was during the summer so when I tried to close the door at night it WOULD NOT close and lock. I've installed doors in the past but my wife wanted the door to be professionally installed. I was ASTONISHED. How do you call a job completed without checking if the door closes. The next job was to slide the house. I thought the finished job looked okay. However, when the town building inspector came by to do his final inspetion he told me there were mulitiple building code violations some of which were blatant violations He said he was surprized to see a supposedly experienced sider try to cut so many corners. I had bathroom fans attacted to hoses that were vented out the roof soffits. Gary's crew removed the vent/hoses from the soffits and tossed them into the roof eves. What they should have done was to cut holes in the panel they were installing and reattached the existing vent/hoses. This problem was discovered a few years later during a home inspection while selling the house. Unfortunately, black mold set in adding to things I needed to resolve. Now let's go back a few years, a couple months after the siding job was completed side panels started falling off the house. I called Gary and he reattached some of the fallen panels, but didn't return to reattach the rest of the panels. Over time a couple more panels fell off. I continued to call Gary or his foreman to reattach all the fallen penals. They mad promises to fix the panels but never showed up again. If you plan to do busines with Gary, I would suggest you have an iron clad contract.

Sales guy was very informative and not pushy. the quote was actually lower than I had expected, and that doesnt happen often. signed that day. true to contract they arrived at 7 am, ready to work. the house was covered in tarps to collect the old roof debris. If you don't know, a metal shingle roof must be nailed by hand, no nail guns and random nails here there and everywhere. it's labor intensive. the shingles lock together unlike a regular asphalt one. zero chance of wind lifting them up, each one attaches to its neighbors and interlocks. they added roof vents as we have no ridge vent. I gotta say, it's a flawless job. seriously. I'm not being paid to say this. never trust people that do. they cleaned up every day. heck, my back deck has never looked cleaner. it's a flawless install with snow angels above each door so the snow doesn't slide off and block the doorway. clean professional, on time, hard workers, 12 hour days. 3 days total. dumpster filled and removed. nothing left but a nice clean STRAIGHT roof and a yard sign that I'm proud to display. Get a few quotes,,, but you will choose these guys in the end if you understand value for money. If only every thing was this good. 100% happy.
