My experience at your establishment was the worst I've had with aesthetic services. I paid extra to be with a "master," and I was very surprised by the skill level of the person who provided my service. In particular, I was shocked by the way my tinted and laminated brows turned out. I was asked if I've ever had a tint before and what color they have used in the past. I remember this because she said almost nothing else to me the entire time after asking about the type of lashes I wanted in the very beginning. I told her "light brown--a shade or two darker than what I have now." My natural brows are very light. In the end, my brows were very dark brown--almost black. I could tell that something was wrong before I saw them because she kept wiping my brows over and over to the point that they felt raw. When she showed them to me I said, "Wow! They are dark." She asked me if I wanted her to "try to wipe some off," which made no sense to me given that she had already been wiping them. It was apparent that she knew they were too dark. After they were done she told me, "You will need to get them cleaned up." I've had services on my brows many times, and I've never walked out of an establishment with sloppy looking brows. Given the cost of the service, it seems reasonable for the person providing the service to remove stray hairs with tweezers. In fact, it would have looked much better when I left if she had done this before tinting my brows. I was also disappointed by how my check out was handled. I booked my appointment on 12/2 when I received a text message about getting 50% off one service. I used the link in the text and booked the same day for the earliest available evening appointment. The person who provided my services seemed unsure about how to check me out. After a call was made, I was told that I would have had to have my service done by 12/6. That seemed unreasonable to me. She made another call when I showed her the confirmation email showing I booked the same day the discount text was sent. "Service must be completed by 12/6" would be much clearer than the word "redeemed." She told me that they could give me the current promo of "25% off" and later, when I gave her my credit card, said "$25." I asked for clarification and was disappointed by the response. Overall, she seemed to not know what she was doing, and I left paying much more for a much worse service than I would expect from a "master" at a seemingly legitimate establishment. I've always seen this location because I am often shopping at the LBX Hangar, so I decided to try the lash lift. I've done lash lifts before and I like the natural look compared to the full sets of lashes. However, I'm not sure why the lash lift(s) I got done were not great. The first lash lift, I felt was rushed. I was asked when was the last time I for a lash lift and I answered about a year. When the lift was done, I took pictures in my car because they just didn't look great. One side looked like it attempted to lift (left side), the other side not so much (right side). I called the phone number to ask for a redo, and I said I would pay a fee. They were nice enough to waive the fee for the redo which was nice. When I went in for the redo a week later, I felt a little uncomfortable for asking for a redo from the same lash artist. Didn't feel welcome for sure. She saw it and said "oh yeah I see it." So she redid the lash lift. She made sure to make the side that didn't lift the first time lift. Which it did and it's great. But the other side (left side) now looks a little weak. I'm not going to ask for another redo a second time. I just wish what was done for the right side the second time was done the first time. Also, if the lash artist looks over them a bit more maybe she would notice right away that they look uneven. I appreciate that a redo was given and at no charge. But I do think attention to detail is important. I believe my lash artist was "Qua" according to email reciept. It seems like others have had positive experiences with other lash artists. My visit to Deka Lash was one of the worst beauty experiences I've ever had. From the moment I stepped in, I felt uneasy. There was no one at the front desk to greet me, and the technician seemed inexperienced and disorganized. She didn't ask about my lash preferences, and during the service, it became clear she didn't know what she was doing. The final result was heartbreaking. My lashes were uneven, clumpy, and looked like a failed attempt at DIY extensions. By the next morning, they started falling out, and within a week, I developed an eye infection due to the poor application and burning glue. While I received a partial refund, the gratuity was not reimbursed, and my follow-up messages have gone unanswered. The lack of professionalism and the harm caused to my eyes are beyond unacceptable. I am seriously considering legal action to address the damage caused by this experience. I urge others to stay away from Deka Lash. The photo of my eye is day 2 of antibiotics and much redder than this on the first day of infection. I could barely open my eye or be exposed to light. read more

I've now visited Deka Lash twice for a lash lift and tint, and unfortunately both times the experience has fallen short, especially when compared to other lash studios I've been to in the past. Both appointments began late, and no one acknowledged me when I arrived. I wasn't greeted or even spoken to until the tech was ready to bring me back. On my most recent visit (April 27), things took a concerning turn. During the final step of the service, I experienced intense burning in both of my eyes as the eye protection was removed. The tech had to do several passes to help alleviate the discomfort, but my right eye stayed red and swollen for the rest of the day. I've had this same service done at other salons without any issues before, so this was definitely not typical. I emailed the company twice and also called to let them know - not to complain, but simply to make them aware in case something had gone wrong with the product or application. No one ever responded. I'm disappointed not only by the inconsistent service, but especially by the complete lack of follow-up on what could have been a safety issue. I wanted to share my experience so others can make an informed decision. Hopefully, Deka Lash will take this feedback seriously and improve both their customer service and client care protocols. read more

They cancelled on me last minute. Like 4 hours before my appointment. They said they can't accommodate me for an alternate time after work. Why is it that if I cancel last minute, they charge me 50% of the fee, but if they cancel, I get nothing?? My time is just as valuable as yours. Absolutely do not recommend. It is amateur hour at DekaLash. My first appointment was good, but my lashes fell off within 4 days despite following all instructions for lash preservation. I went in to schedule another appointment, which Marisol ended up canceling. When my rescheduled appointment came around, Marisol denied having an appointment with me (despite the confirmation text with her name I had received). She had me wait around for 35 minutes for "another lash technician" (who never came and was likely not scheduled) before finally seeing me. She said she could "cover" for her seemingly imaginary coworker. I laid down in the bed, and asked her a few questions about different lash styles. She couldn't answer any of the questions--clearly revealing her ignorance about her own trade. I decided enough was enough and kindly excused myself. THOROUGHLY UNIMPRESSED. I'm can't speak for other lash technicians at DekaLash, but I can say that you should NOT book with Marisol. read more

Everyone says how much bigger my eyes look and how natural the lashes look. I went with a Classic Full Set - Doll Eye. I came here for the first time Saturday morning, and it was my first time getting eyelash extensions ever. The process to make an appointment was easy peasy. I booked my appointment over the telephone and a woman answered right away. I was told to arrive 10-15 minutes early to complete new client forms and to arrive without any eye makeup. When you arrive for your appointment, you will check-in and sign/initial the forms on their lovely iPad. The chairs are super comfy and they provide a firm leg pillow and blanket for extra comfort. There's even a bowl of mints! Deka Lash sells many products that will help extend the life of your lash extensions. THE ONLY UNCOMFORTABLE PART is when they TAPE down your bottom lashes to make sure they don't get in the way. You will learn all about the Do's & Don't of eyelash extensions!! For example, you should avoid getting them wet for the first 24 hours. You will be given a visor to use in the shower. If you have any questions or concerns, don't be shy; make sure to ask your lash artist. Like how do you sleep without tangling/messing them up?! TIPS: - Deka Lash is located right across from Nordstrom Rack. Environment: open at 10am, it is very comfortable and provide you with blankets. It does get cold so bring layers. They also open on weekends which is a plus. They check you in with nice iPads Lash artist: At the beginning I was nervous since it was my first time, I did not know what to expect but Alex is so sweet, nice and patient, she answered all my questions made me feel very relaxed. Experience: I got lucky and got my first set free because I won a raffle. I got the Classic-Natural set. My eyelashes are already super long so this made them look even longer, received tons of compliments some even asked me if they were mine because they looked so natural. Honestly, the only scary part of the process is at the beginning when they are taping your bottom lashes down, so they dont stick to your upper lashes, the rest of the time your eyes are closed during the procedure. At the end of the two hour service they give you baggie with dos and donts and a spoolie to brush your lashes every day, if you dont they get tangled. However, I followed all the recommended precautions BUT my lashes only lasted 1 Week . I was pretty disappointed towards the end of the first week my eyelashes were holding on for dear life. I would of given 3 stars but because they were free I gave them 4 stars. TIPS: Lashes are nice but keep in my mind you need find 1.5 hours of your time to come every two weeks for refill, since your lash extension will fall out with your normal lash cycle, and be prepared spend big bucks depending which plan you want.
