We had purchased window coverings at big-box stores in the past and they never fit exactly right, and they didn't last for more than a few years. We didn't want to do that again! We wanted to buy local. We wanted a custom, quality product that would last. And, we wanted a knowledgeable, expert to measure and install the product we chose. We found exactly what we were looking for at D-N-T. When Steve came to measure our windows, he brought samples with him so that we could see how the color would look with our indoor lighting. And, when he installed the shades in all of our rooms a couple of weeks later, the finished product was stunning! They fit perfectly, they looked beautiful, and we were thrilled with the style, color, and functionality. We have had them now for one year, so we have gone through all 4 seasons with them on our windows. It is unbelievable what a difference the shades have made in the energy efficiency of our home. He was from the get go punctual, professional and respectful and we were very happy with the finished result. Around 4 years later I called him because one of the two blinds was no longer opening or closing without getting bound up. We had to schedule quite far out because he was so busy but he returned as scheduled in two vans with his helper just in case he needed assistance and within about 45 minutes had it working well again. As before, he was punctual, polite and respectful and to my surprise he did not even charge me for his service call. I was expecting to have to pay for his time given that it was around 4 years later. Matt showed by his kind actions that he is all about service and that he values his customers and a long term relationship with them. I cannot recommend him and his company highly enough. Why? 1) there's NO help with measuring your screens, just vague, verbal, seat-of-the-pants "guidelines"...no specific or written instructions at all...unless you want to pay the high-high service fee and have them do an on-site. DIY is sketchy at best 2) looong re-screening lead times...and actually, looooong lead times if buying new screens. We did both, it took 5-weeks for a small job. Not a big house we have. 3) They say they'll "contact you" when stuff is ready for pickup...guess what? Never a call...or email...or text. Nada 4) Rudeness. There's just an "attitude" with these people. Unfriendly vibe. So, no, I can't review them low enough. Use them at your own discretion. I bet donuts to dollars you'll come away just like me.

Tech came out and spent 5 minutes to find OUR part and put the blind back in service. Despite a life-time guarantee from Hunter-Douglas, tech charged a $95.00 'service charge' , then ASKED FOR A TIP !!!. We think this was a Gold-Plated RIP-OFF and would recommend another dealer if you need service
