Nicolette's service was amazing. She helped me figure out how to file an insurance claim and had a label on my other package in no time

There is literally nothing worse than going to the post office to me. The lines are always long,…read morethe hours are funky, and generally you can tell the staff is overworked and beat. The Center City post office in OKC is none of these things! They have fantastic hours, open until 7 pm weeknights, and for being downtown there's ample parking out front. And of course, the most important is that the staff is fantastic! Even when the line is long I have no problem because they are all so friendly towards everyone. Downtown locations often get a large variety of people, which is no different in OKC, and I've seen the staff go above and beyond on many occasions. Language barriers, government law confusion, you name it and this staff can handle it. Thank you for positively impacting my thoughts on visiting the post office!

US Post Office May 28, 2026…read more (2/5) As usual, the US Post Office looks like it's been frozen in time since the 1960s, and this location is no exception. The interior feels dated, the equipment looks dated, and the whole environment is a strange step back in time the moment you walk through the door. You'd genuinely think that the federal government, of all institutions, could afford to update its workers' workplace and give the people who keep the mail moving a modern, state-of-the-art facility to do their jobs in. Instead, post office after post office continues to feel like a museum exhibit of mid-century federal architecture and 1980s technology. The most absurd example I noticed here was the security cameras. They are absolutely massive -- the kind of giant, brick-shaped units you'd expect to see mounted in a convenience store decades ago, not in a federal facility in 2026. It's the sort of detail that, once you notice it, you can't unsee, and it tells you everything about how little the building itself has been brought up to date. The other consistent gripe across every post office I visit is the lack of self-service options. There are never enough self-checkout or self-service kiosks for the volume of customers coming through the door, which guarantees long lines and frustrated patrons no matter how hard the people behind the counter are working. The clerks do the best they can with what they've been given, and I have no complaint about the workers themselves -- they're stuck operating in conditions and with tools that don't match the demands of the job. This isn't really a critique of any one location or any one employee. It's a critique of a system that, decade after decade, can't seem to invest in the modernization its own workforce deserves and that the public clearly needs. If the federal government wants the Postal Service to be taken seriously as a modern, competitive institution, the buildings, the equipment, and the customer-facing tech all need a real upgrade. Until that happens, expect a slightly time-warped, slow-moving visit every time you walk in.

There is no logical reason for sending an item scheduled for delivery to Glendale, AZ a short 12.5…read moremiles from the FedEx Phoenix hub to Olathe, KS 1,183 miles away. THERE COULD NEVER BE A RECOMMENDATION MADE FOR ANYONE TO EVER GO THROUGH FedEx TO SHIP ANYTHING. Why has a package that sat in Phoenix, AZ for two days now found its way to Olathe, Kansas? FedEx please be advised that the FORMAL COMPLAINT or Claim filed on 02/12/2026 - C-225511613 is still being filed and it was a recorded call, according to the customer service representative, MS Moor, in India. According to the information obtained from a phone call to the Memphis, TN Corporate Office, there was never a claim filed. When sending a shipment to friends or family out of state it has been a preferred choice to go through FedEx in Midwest City, OK. This past week was one such situation that came with a bit of a higher than normal cost associated with shipping. The first price nearly caused a heart attack as it was a 12.5 pound fragile item that was going approximately 980 miles. Midwest City, OK to Glendale AZ. The cost for two day shipping would have cost $800.00, yes, that is the quoted cost before the cost of the container. I chose to have the three to five day option, which cost $144.98. Still rather high but well worth the cost since the item was going to my beloved family. The interesting thing about FedEx is that no one believes that they need to follow through on completing a task in a timely manner. The funny thing about paying so much for a service such as shipping a package is that the item shipped on 02/07/2026, arrived in Phoenix, AZ on 02/11/2026 at approximately 2:00am and Left Phoenix, AZ at approximately 4:30am on 02/11/2026 and still has not arrived to its final destination in Glendale, AZ as of 02/13/2026 at 11:36 MST. Update: the package arrived in Olathe, KS at 1:00pm on the 02/13/2026 and departed on 02/14/2026 for parts unknown. The response to inquiries as to the location of the item FedEx has decided that "we'll let you know when the item starts to move again at some time in the future." The FedEx tourist trip has been going on long enough,. The "when we are good and damn ready" is a very bad business policy, FedEx. At this point there is no expectation for FedEx or anyone employed by FedEx to do the right thing, as email addresses go to no where, customer service representatives are given free reign to be dishonest, and dishonesty is the clear and identifiable business plan. The phone conversations with the FedEx employees have been recorded due to the lengthy track record of dishonesty. What would the outcome have been if the customer had paid the $800 delivery fee? As if $144.98 was not enough. Please see the attached photos.
