Ordered Del Taco this evening via Uber Eats. My wife had the hard shell grilled chicken tacos and chips and I had two small burritos. We enjoyed the food and the tortillas were fresh and the food hot and tasty. Good service. Recommended. read more

Do you fulfill your online orders. I asked for some sauces with 6 tacos and fries loaded. Spent good money but my request for salsas was cut in more than half. Why come to place that decides what they will give you vs what they choose. Can't really get enough taco sauce with 6 tacos and a carnitas fries with 4 salsas. This is really sad for me to give a 3 star review.. I really never give this low . Tech is a 2.5 . I have NOT been to eat here in over a year at this location and now I know why and why I won't be eating Del Taco anytime soon. I was going to do drive thru on #drivethruday but I walked in being I didn't want to be rushed placing my order. I walked in to an empty counter and was immediately told to place my order on the large screen in front of me of what I wanted . I told her I am not sure what I want yet. I do know I want to try the carnitas and do want just the smallest burrito you offer and taco you offer with it in it . I asked, since it's EMPTY in here can't I just order with you and ask you what is the smallest burrito and taco with carnitas? She walked over to me and stat to the screen and said these are the burritos so this one and these tacos ok that's all ok $18.56 I was wow that's a lot . She had my debit card in her hand already and put it in and paid I did use my code but was thinking - this is why I don't come here . I was in a hurry or I would have questioned it . So when I was waiting she said - I messed up , I charged you for 3 tacos not 1 as the people were making trace Tacos I could hear trace she said no Uno . So the manager said give her cash back - so $5.76 back to me but it was still pretty expensive for their smallest street taco and burrito, but ok no problem it's carnitas . They said hot sauce and napkins over there bye .. So I put my bag in my car on my leather heated seat , drive home and get out and my bag is covered In GREASE .. I had the biggest mess , my bag was full of grease . I opened the bag when I got home to find both the burrito leaking but the TACI WAS DISGUSTING ! It was covered in grease - the tin foil was saturated- the bag - the taco shell was falling apart from the grease . I didn't have enough napkins 4 no . I had to get 3 good paper towels from my house to clean me up and did not eat the taco as it just fell apart from the grease on the shell . Well this is a Miss not a hit for Del Taco unless they can find a way to drain some of the grease before making the street tacos and well any of the food with carnitas! As far as it went for customer service - 2- out of 5 as it wasn't busy and it was a Mess up and cost me more out of my debit - I don't like getting cash back .. She messed up a simple order. How the ? Do they expect us to always figure out their menus POS if they can't is my point . read more

I ordered two bean & cheese burritos with red sauce..... it was absolutely the most tasteless food I've ever received from this restaurant chain..... all beans No cheese, barely any red sauce.... I used the drive through and received NO napkins in my bag ...... this chain had absolutely gone down hill in my opinion..... also the driveway was filthy with trash and over grown plants .... I thought that I would do a quick drive-thru after a little errands at the center, but it ended up taking much longer than usual. It was on a Friday during the lunch hour, and I have never seen a line-up this long at a Del Taco. (There were 4 cars up ahead, and 2 behind me from what I could tell.) I wasn't in a rush to get home and was craving their yummy crinkly fries, so I took the chance. I thought that I would place an easy order since I am not that familiar with their menu offerings, and placed an order for a small #1 combo with a Diet Coke. The gentleman told me that he'd have his total for me at the window. Ok fine. But when I got to the window he questioned what I had ordered. I repeated myself. Then I was charged $8.39, which was apparently for an epic chicken burrito. Then a second worker came over questioning what I had ordered and I repeated myself again. He then questioned the worker if I had already been charged, and he didn't have an answer for him, so I responded that I had been already charged. Words were exchanged amongst each other then they handed me my food. He questioned if I had already received my drink, which I hadn't and they looked around confused so I explained that it should be a Diet Coke. They found it, handed it to me and I was on my way. They got my order wrong, I called no one answered. I wanted my beef and cheddar burrito, so I came back with the bean and cheese order I didn't order. They hassles me about a receipt even though we were just there not to long ago, they didn't want to fix my order. So I had to pay again and had them throw away the bean and cheese. Management should really ask themselves is a $3 burrito worth the bad service review? I also filed a complaint to corporate, they wasted my time because of their mistake. Not cool. Tonight, the food was disgusting! We ordered a classic grilled chicken burrito and a crunch-tada. The burrito was drowned in ranch dressing absolutely unedited slop, the crunch-tada looked like someone dropped it on the floor and then scraped it up into the box!! We moved away a couple years ago and stopped by here as they don't have any of these in Indiana this afternoon for a quick bite. The service was good enough. The restaurant was a little dirty, but not terrible the grilled chicken, soft tacos we're OK and the cheese quesadilla was a cheese quesadilla I guess what made it was just being close to my old home and the sauce . I feel like ever since the hourly increase took place the food quality has gone downhill specifically at this location. This has been the 3rd time I received cold burnt fish tacos. This is just sad. This is Del Taco's famous Del Taco, on taco Tuesday. All cheese, barely any tomatoes, and the tiniest amount of beef buried underneath the most meager piece of lettuce. These would be better labeled as "cheese tacos." Clearly you see 90% of this taco order was just shredded cheese. Quite disappointed this evening, in what usually is a pretty decent fast food joint. And even though they still have Mr Pibb on the drive thru signage, it's actually Dr Pepper that they serve now (they let me know this ahead of time, so I'm just pointing out the misleading outdoor menu). read more

This place is great. The staff is really professional, they always get my order right, and the food itself is always fresh.

I came here awhile back for lunch and to be honest, I felt like I was in an elementary school cafeteria. The cashier who took my order had that look on her face as if she was being tortured. The rest of the employees were laughing as if working in a restaurant was a joke. My fries were cold. Prior to ordering my food, I stood there for a solid 5 minutes. So, time for a new review for this Del Taco already. Taking from 5 stars down to 2. I guess I was just so excited to have Del Taco in RSM, I jumped the gun and really gave them the benefit of the doubt with all of the other reviews that werent so positive. I dont know how many check ins I have here, but I would say its maybe around 10 or under. About 50% of them have been a good experience. The other 50%, not so much. The worst, that is making me change my review happened this past Saturday. I went to the drive thru, and placed my order. Paid, and someone else handed me a bag of food... Im guessing a manager. The kid with my credit card handed me my card back, and I drove away. I realized the bag was really light and figured my food couldnt all be in there. I ordered a few tacos, and a side of nacho cheese. I was right, one taco was in there and the cheese. It takes a while to get out of this drive thru, because where the exit is, is a complete BLEEP show. Someone finally lets me out, and I am left to find a spot in this insane parking lot at 1230 on a Saturday. I make my way up to the counter where you pick up food, and stood there quite a few minutes before someone asks me what I need. I said here is my receipt, and here is the food I received. The manager took my food and went back over to the drive thru. Another manager comes flying around the corner with two bags of food and my receipt and starts to yell at me, and shoves my food at me. He says he told me it wasnt my full order. I did NOT hear anything, and if he did say something, when I started to pull away he should have yelled WAIT if that was the case. The fact that he yelled at me, and shoved my food at me, and then started laughing.... was enough for me. My chicken taco smelled funny and had something white on the chicken, so I ended up throwing out my entire meal. I had eaten one taco, and the shell was completely stale. How do you have stale taco shells when you have only been open a few weeks? I love Del Taco but it will be awhile before I return to this one. The treatment from the management, and seeing the other reviews here regarding the same problems... Im curious how long this stays here. read more

Yelp 100 Challenge 13/100 This is a brand new location and welcome addition to the neighborhood. It was one of the chains that I was missing after moving to Coto. It's great for a cheap, fast meal with the kids. The drive thru line is always busy, but it seems to have gotten a lot better than when they first opened. I have yet to receive a wrong order, which I swear happened at least 1/3rd of the time at my old Del Taco. Since it's new the store is nice and clean and I hope they keep it up. The employees also seem to be very nice and are all easy to understand over the speakers. This is key in moving the line along quickly. I'll check back again after a couple of months and see if my review is any better or worse. read more

Ordered several menu items in the drive thru tonight, some of which were several Crunchtadas. Upon opening at home we were surprised to see such skimpy toppings as compared to their advertised item. Could actually count the shreds of lettuce on each one. Very disappointing. read more

They've lost a very long time customer due to incompetence. I love Del Taco, so this review isn't about the chain, or the food. It's about this particular location and the complete incompetence or possibly malicious employees. I have been going to this Del Taco since the day they opened, a few times a month. Very rarely had any issues until recently. This may sound like a minor deal, and if it happened once or twice it would be. So, I love the habanero grilled chicken tacos. Been getting them since they came out, and before that, I would get the regular grilled chicken soft tacos. Recently, they started serving crispy fried chicken, something I cannot have due to dietary constraints. The past FOUR times I've gone there and ordered my habanero grilled chicken tacos, they gave me regular crispy chicken tacos. After the second time, I asked the guy at the counter if they stopped selling the grilled chicken tacos and he said no. After the third time I called them, and they said I should be extra clear I want grilled, and ask them to read it back, so that's what I did on the fourth time. The guy read back grilled. And I got crispy. I love Del Taco, but now if I crave it I will drive to Lake Forest. These guys here are either completely inept, or messing with me. Either way they've lost my patronage permanently. read more

I love Del Taco! So glad the awful place that was here before, was replaced. I never got any mail or email announcing the opening date. I happened to see the cars at the drive-thru. It was lunch hour, it was starting to fill up. I made it just in time. I ordered the Chicken Avocado With Bacon Salad to go. Management managed every area station behind the counter; and expediting the distribution of orders in the front. By the time I got my food, the inside line was far into the dining area and the drive-thru filled. My salad was delicious!! Now I have incentive to start my 4 1/2 mile round trip walks. Crazy how the prices are going up everywhere but the service seems to be getting worse. I'm always hesitant to even get fast food anymore because it's hardly worth the money, but the crew here tonight was great. Friendly and did their jobs well.
