Ordered a sandwich bowl this evening via the app. My husband picked it up and when he returned home with it, it was made completely wrong. So he took it back and the two women at the counter were rude to him and asked if he wanted a refund. He told them No he would like them to make it the correct way (no bacon, added pepper relish and added roast beef that I paid extra for) The lady told the girl, just remake it. Had they apologized immediately and offered to remake and were kind about THEIR mistake, I would not be writing this. Even with a long lunch line, the employees did a great job of moving things along while also giving everyone a personalize experience. They deserve props for that. Especially our group that had 4 small kids, they were kind, patient, & answered all of their questions when trying to decide on what to get. Sandwiches were fresh & tasty as expected. The only reason for 4 star vs 5, is it was a little messy in the restaurant and needed a good wipe down behind the counter as well as in the lobby. I appreciate a clean restaurant. Upon nearing the store a fine gentlemen by the name of Lucus kindly held the door open for me and greeted me asking about my day as I entered. As I approached the counter I was welcomed again by two pristine looking fellows who went by Marcus and Michael. Marcus was the slicer and my goodness the way he sliced was a thing a beauty, the way he sliced the meat and cheese and placed it onto the sandwich was akin to watching your grandparents tuck your young ones into bed. Perfectly snug under the covers and placed perfectly in the middle of the bed. it was wonderful to see him work. Then he passed my sandwich down the line to Michael who treated my sandwich the same way as the other. The way he sprinkled the lettuce reminded me of watching the snow fall in my hometown of Vermont. While the juice reminded me of the cold rain falling down and absorbing into the grass of my front lawn all with a smell akin to it. This experience has left with me a feeling that no other sandwich shop ever has and most likely never will. This establishment has earned a lifelong patron and I hope to see the growth and prosper of those gentlemen who made my day so grand and filled with heartwarming appreciation. I suddenly felt the craving for cheesesteak which I haven't had in quite some time so I headed over to this place to grab one. I love the grilled onions, but I'm not a fan of the peppers so I asked for the regular cheesesteak with no peppers, but onions were OK. I got it on a wheat roll and specifically requested the beef cheesesteak. Even though there was nobody in line the person who took my order, asked the cook and he said that he was very busy with some other orders and that it was gonna be a little while. I was in no hurry so I didn't mind waiting And I took a seat to wait. Mind you this is after paying and getting the prompt to give a tip which of course I declined because I'm getting this to go and I don't see any purpose in having to tip somebody for just taking my order. Regardless, I got the sandwich and went home with it. When I unroll the sandwich, I noticed there was a small piece of chicken in the paper. I brushed it off thinking that maybe it was just when they cut the sandwich on the board and paid it no mind. I took one bite into the sandwich which was primarily bread and noticed a big pepper in it as well as the sandwich was chicken and not beef. They had completely gotten my order wrong, and I was very unimpressed with the amount of meat in there compared to the roll. The roll was overly sweet and the chicken lacked flavor. I had to go through and remove all the bits of pepper that were in there, but didn't manage to get everything which is spoiled the flavor even more. I didn't wanna drive all the way back and deal with it and I was hungry so I just ate some of it anyway. I was raised to not waste food so I couldn't bring myself to just throw it away. The only good part was the cheese, but even that didn't save the meal. For $12 I felt completely underwhelmed and will absolutely never go to this place again. Right after they finished somebody that wasn't working the pickup area asked the lady that came in after me that was behind me with her dog what her name was for her order. Yes they may charge a bit more then the other guys however they don't have pre weighed out packaged meats - Jersey Mike's takes the meat and slices it fresh right in front of your eyes and places it right on the choice of your fresh bread - either a small Which is enough for a child to eat - or Regular that is about a half sandwich not actually a full regular sandwich but works for me - and most - then they have what they call the Giant that would be technically a regular plus the small added together. If your HANGRY- do buy the Giant and you will have enough . I have bought the Giant and ate 1/2 for lunch and ate the other half for dinner - made spending the price got the Giant worth it since I got two meals out of it . I usually go to the Rancho Mission Viejo Jersey Mike's and they Rock ! I have tried Lake Forest and they were great - I just love Jersey Mike's and when my picky picky mom loves a heathy sandwich - and has fallen in love with this over the other guys - ITS A WIN WIN !! Poorly run location. Of all the JM's locations I have been to, this location is the worst. Tables were filthy. Tea dispenser was not working. Staff looked lost and were not fully engaged. There didn't appear to be a manager in charge to supervise these young employees. Only positive note, I had no problem with the food. I won't stop coming to JM's, I just won't go to this location. We are regular customers here and though the subs are great, the customer service is lacking. A simple Welcome and acknowledgement of a customer is so important. I was waiting in line for more than five minutes without even a hello or someone expressing that they were finishing orders and would take my order in a minute. It was not even busy. I tried this Jersey Mike's Subs out because I had a coupon for a dollar off. The interior is clean and spacious. I found that there was a variety of seating from tables, booths and counter chairs. I liked the monitors and imagined I could enjoy some light entertainment. Some of the staff is a bit shy. I was greeted when I came in the door but not much more. The more senior looking employees were more body language receptive to being asked for suggestions. So that is what I did. The Italian was recommend and so I ordered that (regular size). There was only one person ahead of me who had ordered four sandwiches to go but I felt more ordered was prepared fast. The sandwich was FRESH and tall. After eating half of it I would say filling as well. I took the other half home to eat for dinner. I think the sauce was what stood out to me and the lettuce (there was a lot of it). The only real downside is the price. Jersey Mike's is not Subway Sandwiches but it costs like a place that charges more than Subway. Worth it if it is convenient, you can afford it, and are in the mood. They have a club for perks and discounts. Also this location does not take higher than $50 bills. read more

This is our favorite sandwich place but we have been very disappointed in the orders we place online for pick up. Our last online order we paid extra for bacon and did not receive bacon on the sandwich. Today we ordered sandwich on the left to have bacon and green bell peppers added to the sandwich. Very little bacon that we paid extra for and no green bell peppers. Both sandwiches lacked lettuce and just very sloppy and thrown together. The fly was landing on the cheese, hams, etc. Another fly then landed on the ham that was already on my bread. The employee waived it off acting like I didn't see it. I then asked for that ham to be replaced and he seemed confused. What is there to be confused about?! During his confusion, another fly landed on top of my bread. At this point, I said cancel the order and I walked out. There's no way you can get me to eat that crap or expect your customers to eat in a dirty place. It's not like this location is clean. I was running around doing errands with my wife on a Saturday and could feel myself getting cranky and needing something to eat. We were near a plaza with several "quick" eateries and Jersey Mike's seemed the most acceptable choice. There was no line but a fair amount of sandwich-eating people sitting at the tables both inside and out. I ordered the roast beef & provolone on their rosemary bread. I had it done "Mike's Way" with lettuce, tomato, red wine vinegar, olive oil, seasonings....but I chose to go without onion. Also got chips and a drink. We found a ratty booth (the interior has definitely seen better days but at least it's kept clean) and ate. The sandwich was good and was enjoyed as my blood sugar got back under control. It was a bit dry - maybe could have used more vinegar or oil or maybe I should have asked for some mayo. But it was okay. Staff here seemed unenthused but did their jobs. Walking back to the car my wife noticed the back of my shorts had a residue on them from sitting on the duct-taped seat here.
