You know what I'm not a big fan of? Bad customer service and I have a feeling I'm not the only one…read morethat feels that way. I am in need of having a piece replaced on my vehicle. I have admitted in the past that I am not the most car literate person out there. But I do do my research when something goes wrong. I look up everything I need to know myself and then find the part(s) I need and make sure that everything is taken care of beforehand. That's what I did today, before I left the house and before wasting a stop I made sure that this location had what I needed and I could just stop in and be on my way. Well, let me tell you what a waste of a good twenty minutes that was. I showed up and told them what I needed. I am completely unsure of what the name of the piece I needed but I tell them what it is for and then attempt to find it. After a few minutes the lady that initially helped me had not luck (to note: she was wonderful and apologetic, I would have dealt with her the whole time if I could have). Then another associate comes over and attempts his luck. After searching for a few minutes and giving me the rundown that they don't carry this part I kind of put him on mute in my mind and did a quick search on my phone for the part needed. Surprise, they did have it in store. It's not easy to lie in the information age. So he pulls it up and tells me they have one in stock. After asking how many I needed (bolts that is) I tell him six. He then tries to convince me that there is only one bolt per package and I would have to make multiple stops at other locations to get a total of six. He they goes on to tell me that they are expensive as they are $15 per bolt. I started to catch onto him trying to up sale me, and I'll tell you why. I believe that either he worked at the dealership next door or they have some type of scam going when they see what type of vehicle they have. He tells me that I can go next door to the dealership and they would be able to order my part for me. *Takes a breath* "Well, if I wanted to pay more I would have went directly to them. Instead I came here because I knew that the prices would be better and I could get them easier than waiting for them to be delivered." Not much is said after that, in my mind the conversation was over and I went outside. So I was attempting to one up him at this point and I was going to be petty and order them on my phone and then walk into the store and pick them up right away. After rereading the description I noticed that one package actually contained three bolts, unlike what he was telling me before. So I collected myself, calmed the anger that was starting to rise in me, and walked back into the store. I didn't even look at that guy from before, I just went to a different employee. Gave him the item number that I found and this nice gentleman went and got it for me. Yes, they may have had only one package of the bolts in store, but I at least had three bolts of the six I needed. I then asked if he could call the store up the road and see if they had another package and if they could set it aside and I would be there to pick it up in less than a hour. He did this for me and all was fine. As this gentleman was on the phone with the other store the initial lady I was dealing with came over and apologized for everything that had happened. I reassured her that it was not her fault and not to worry about it. But get it together guy, know your stuff, don't push me off. You wasted my time and left a bad taste in my mouth when it comes to your store.
