We had a really frustrating experience with Cochran, particularly with the finance department. Taylor Brown added warranties to our contract that we never agreed to. To top it off, we found out that they were video recording our conversations without my permission, which we found quite unsettling. It's now been three months since we canceled those warranties, and we still haven't received any refunds. We've sent numerous emails and made several phone calls, but we haven't heard back from anyone. last Saturday and my husband went down to the Cochrane about an hour before they were closing to look at a bronco for myself and within that timeframe they had they got me approved. They got me almost all the paperwork ready unfortunately to come back down to sign the paperwork, but we were in contact with Rowan for the last couple days and yesterday I was able to pick up my car and the staff there is spectacular as a woman looking at buying a vehicle. #1 Cochran CJDR is by far the best dealership I have ever dealt with!! My sales, to post-sale follow-up and service, i have had nothing but 110% positive experiences with them. Just yesterday, my Wrangler was due for inspection, it was a brand new 2024 I purchased earlier this year, but had July inspection stickers. I really didn't even think about when I bought it, but both my service advisor and the sales manager went above and beyond and did the inspection on their dime since I only had it a few months. I was not expecting that, but they truly take care of their customers!! I highly recommend them. So much so, that after my Jeep I purchased 2 more vehicles from this dealership, one for my wife and one for my youngest daughter, and a Hyundai at the Monroeville Hyundai dealership. Wow! I thought we were having a good experience with our salesman until speaking with the manager. He immediately made me want to walk out the door with his sleazy car salesman tactics. And after him telling me lies about the military incentives I had enough, but being a patient person instead of just walking out after realizing my evening, as well as the salesman, had just been wasted and having driven an hour to this dealership in pouring rain I still stood their patiently as I listened to lie after lie come out of his mouth. Then the salesman joins right in with him. They both in the end disgusted me. What might have been even worse was watching the salesman throw a fit taking it out on the vehicle tearing into the clutch as he angrily sped the vehicle backwards to park after deciding not to buy into their kool-aide. Hello I recently had my 2016 Jeep Renegade in for State Inspection and Oil Change which I had both done at the same ownership since I bought the vehicle there in 2016. My Emmision Inspection was exempt because only about 2000 miles since my last Inspection.  This EXEMPT emmision cost me $34.95 + $11.00 sticker fee. When I questioned the 34.95 charge I was told it was discounted because it was exempt.  I was told by another dealership that it should have been only $11.00 for the sticker fee since they didn't have to do any Inspection. This dealership advertises their CPO warranty on used vehicles but then when you ask for the warranty there is none. Nick tried to tell me it was a 200 point certified inspection not a warranty but when I read him the ad online tried to tell me it wasn't true and wasn't his ad etc. He then tried to tell me I could have the remaining balance of Toyota factory warranty but not his CPO warranty and that the factory warranty would void if I chose his. Just complete bs. I wouldn't trust these guys. read more

They have been great to deal with. After a reoccurring issue with my AC they took a deep look and realized there was damage inside my AC compressor. I have an extended warranty but because I have brought it in two times over the last three years for this same problem on a brand new car, they waived my deductible and did right by me. The service department at this place is TERRIBLE!!! This is not the first case of bad customer service I have had here but this one tops the other service appointments I have had here. I had the service department do a complete check on my 2008 Jeep Wrangler on 12/16/2015. I had a list of items that I wanted checked as my extended warranty was to expire in February 2016. One item that needed addressed and that was covered under my extended warranty was the factory installed satellite radio. The sides of the read out display were dimming. Darryll Jones was who I had dealt with on this day. A radio was ordered. I made an appointment for 1/4/2016 to have it installed and I was going to wait to have the repair finished since it would take about an hour. Repair was finished in under an hour HOWEVER, it went downhill from there. Once the work was finished, I paid my deductible and sat in my Jeep to call SiriusXM with my new radio ID so I could continue with my SiriusXM subscription. The radio worked for a few minutes then the entire display went blank and it stopped working. I went back inside the service department and told Daryll what happened. They pulled my Jeep back into the garage and had the mechanic look at it. An hour and 30 minutes later, they returned and said that it was fixed. The mechanic couldn't figure out what happened and even drove it around the lot to see what would happen. The mechanic stated that the radio did cut out a few times when he was driving it around. The mechanics only explanation was that it needed to download some information. This could have very well been true as SiriusXM does do station updates from time to time. I left the garage and drove home and the display went blank and stopped working AGAIN. I figured that it was still updating since SiriusXM updates via satellite so I gave it a few more days to completely update. During those days, it would work and then stop working. I called Daryll back and explained to him what was happened. Daryll concluded that the radio was defective and that he needed to "speak with one of his tech guys" and that he would call me back. He stated that any further work would be at no charge. A few more days passed and I still had not heard from Daryll. The worst happened was when I would have my headlights on and turn then turn the Jeep off and the backlight display would still be on! I couldn't have this happen since it would drain my battery. I ended up pulling a fuse M14 (which controls the trail lights, as if I ever had a trailer or ever towed something for that matter) which turned off the entire radio. I then went back on 1/8/2016 and Daryll was off that day so I spoke with Chris. I explained to him what happened and he said that he would call Daryll to find out what the status was. I told him that somebody needed to call my by Monday 1/1/2016 to let me know since I didn't get a call from Daryll. I told him that it was ridiculous that no one was following up with me about his issue. I waited till Wednesday, 1/13/2016 and no calls from ANYONE. SHOCKER!! I stopped in the service department that day and said to Daryll, "What's going on with my radio!". From that point, I told Daryll how shitty the service department was and the communication is terrible. He needed to fix the radio and call me by the end of today as to the status of this repair. He said he would call me today. I am not letting this one slide and I am leaving this terrible review so other people can see what type of service the service department at this dealership offers. It appears that Daryll can not do his job correctly, nor can anyone else in the service department including Chris and the mechanic who worked on my radio. Daryll can not followup on services calls especially when the repair that was done was not done completely. This experience is a very negative experience and I will not have any further services done at this department AFTER my radio is fixed. If I need service work done, I will drive to Kreb's in Gibsonia to get service done. By the time I add up all the time I could spend running back and forth and dealing with the service at this place, I would rather drive 40 minutes to get the work done properly. I wouldn't even recommend a simple oil change from them . Drive down the street to Highland Tire or NTB. read more

I had manufacturer covered maintenance recently. The dealership is very nice, proving me a place to work while I wait. Everyone is very friendly. The only negative-and it's pretty significant-was that the interior of my vehicle had dirt all over the place-my weathertech mats, the door handle, all over the door interior the seats and steering wheel. Had my car in for oil change and tire rotation. Was also advised to have certain filters checked. Luckily I was told my filters were in good shape and did not need to be replaced. Was impressed that they were honest with me and didn't try to to charge me for new filters when I didn't need them. However, was advised my back windshield wiper needed replaced as it was leaving streaks. After a short wait they washed my car for me which was a nice treat. I had my vehicle towed to this garage because it wouldn't start. I was told the battery was dead in my two year old Jeep Grand Cherokee due to me having a cell phone charger! I can't charge my phone in a $30,000 car? After picking my vehicle up it started having issues with dash board lights and radio going off and on when I would hit bumps. Ok waste yet another day at the shop to be told that I must have left the cover off the fuses and they were coming lose when hitting bumps! Ummm no your mechanic must have r left the cover off! So I chance this garage again for 3 recalls. One on the breaks and one on the light in the sun visor. Well for starters the mechanic could have washed his hands before putting his greasy hands all over my light grey interior! Thanks for the greasy finger prints! And second they never bled the brakes and I had no breaks just a loud air sound while going down a huge hill near dealership! They run specials on different packages for oil changes and it's a really good deal!! They have a very nice lounge room to wait in and a very nice restroom always clean!!
